For those with Oroville students 7th - 12th grade looking to get into Trap Shooting or if you or your children are interested in taking hunters safety here is the information for the upcoming season and next hunters safety course.
Let’s help support the sport and grow the involvement at the Oroville Gun Club!

"Dear Parents and Students,
We are starting practice for the Oroville Trap team and will also be offering Hunters Education. There will be an information meeting for students and parents, Monday, Sept 16th at 6pm in Mr. Hamilton's room at the high school. The first potential Trap contest for the students would be Oct 26th hosted by Oroville. The trap team is open to all 7th through 12th grade students. There might be options for students who do not have their own fi****ms, so please come out if interested. Also, we do have taps on getting ammunition this year as well. We will be starting the Hunters Safety Training next week starting on the 18th.

***Edit*** per Rick the in-person course will be during school, so just the 7-12 graders can attend, but he will open the field day to anyone who wants to participate as long as they have completed the online portion of the hunters safety training.

The Oroville FFA students who showed at the Okanogan County Fair got lots of compliments this year. Way to go!

Buying an animal at auction can get expensive. If you want to help our kiddos out (raising an animal can get expensive) Add on money is the way to go. You can Add $1.00 or more $$ to show your support of a kid or kids. Find the form in the comments section. Print it out and mail it in with your check or while you’re down at the fair, take it to the fair office, or tonight give it to one of the sales clerks. Please follow instructions on the form. Oroville FFA Trap Shoot @ the Oroville Gun Club. It was awesome to see all the kids shooting and to have so much support! Congratulations to all the winners from the shoot today.

Prime Rib dinner and auction is December 9, 2023! Lots of cool stuff in the auction from hunting supplies, to equine tack, and so much more!
