Join us for partner + self-love yoga with & Maine Yoga Adventures at 10am,followed by PRIDE at The Plant Shop, indulge in the q***r, planty vibes from noon to 6pm. Then, prepare for an evening of ARTSAPALOZA at Mainely Succulents, featuring the fabulous drag performance by Miss Matzah Bawl at 6pm! 🌺👠 Get ready to vibe to the beats of John Jemison at 7pm as we come together to embrace love and diversity. Join us for a day filled with joy, expression, and unity! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Today, we pause to recognize and commemorate Juneteenth and its significance in American history and present day lived experience.

Black and IPOC individuals still face significant racial disparities, inadequate reparations of harm done, and inequities in healthcare, media representation, housing, education and many other vital settings.

Orono Pride is committed to intersectionality and prioritizing the representation, equity, and celebration of BIPOC history and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Pride is rooted in riot, protest, and advocacy. Orono Pride will be donating a portion of our funds to both Juneteenth Ellsworth and Black Trans Advocacy - Texas.

This event is free of charge and open to the public; tips for performers are welcome, and we will be accepting donations at the event to support and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
