**Event Cancellation Notice**

Due to road closures caused by two active fires in the area (Gwen and River fires), we have made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming event. We understand this is disappointing news and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Hwy 12 and 3, the main access routes to Orofino, are currently closed. While our event site is safe, the only remaining access is through remote logging roads and the town of Elk River. We do not feel comfortable asking our guests to navigate these challenging and potentially confusing routes, particularly with the increased risk of fire and lack of cell phone reception.

We look forward to our next Wildlands event which will be in September during root gathering and mushroom season. Thank you for your understanding.

Our thoughts are with our neighbors and friends in Julietta, Kendrick, and Lapwai. Please be safe, stay vigilant, and be prepared.
