What a weekend of racing!

Back in November, reached out to our club about bringing a race to our small town of Orofino. We got to work right away, explored a few potential venues, and found a way to make it happen.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making this event a success. Special thanks to the landowners who graciously opened their incredible property and courageously trusted us to host an event of this size. Thank you to all the racers who came out, raced hard, and made for an unforgettable weekend. And to our club members and volunteers who spent countless hours planning, preparing, marking course, handling race-day duties, and working behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly, this event wouldn’t have been possible without you.

A special shoutout to our club president, While most people only saw the finished product, very few got to see the countless hours he invested to make this event what it was. This race was the realization of a childhood dream, and he poured his heart into every detail. From countless meetings and planning sessions to bringing his own equipment to shape and build the track, his dedication helped turn a vision into reality. The time, effort, and commitment that went into making this event happen cannot be overstated.

Timber Beast XC

6C MC family and friends, racing starts tomorrow for the Timber Beast Hare Scramble!

If you’re available to help, please check in with Mitch or Jon on-site before racing starts each day, or reach out via text beforehand.

Please bring a dirt bike, ATV, or UTV if possible to help get around the course.

Volunteer needs:

Saturday

* 50cc & 65cc race helpers
* Spotters for a few challenging sections
* Roving sweep riders

85cc Race

* The course will include everything except the pro sections
* Volunteers needed to monitor bottlenecks around the course
* One crew needed for a road crossing

Sunday

* Similar volunteer needs as the 85cc race
* Roving course monitors to keep an eye on problem areas

Most importantly: ALL HANDS ON DECK for course cleanup after podiums on Sunday!
Please bring a backpack, pack, or bag to help pack out arrows, ribbon, and course markers.
