The Boosters put on one heckuva good time for BASIS Oro Valley Primary Parents & Students at Saturday’s End of the Year PARTAY!! We took in the sun & breeze on such a beautiful day as we talked, splish-splashed on the splash💦pad and played various yard games all while jamming to some great tunes by DJ Mari P‼️ We continued to FUNdraise for next year events by offering popcorn🍿 & popsicles for sale which was a complete hit. Ot was the perfect way to head into Project Week for school. Next time we want to see y🫵u there, too.

BASIS Oro Valley Primary asked the Booster Parent Volunteers to take care of everyone for the final FUN Friday of the year. The music was PUMPin’, popcorn was P⭕️Pin’, eegee's was CHILLin’ and the mood was THRILLin’‼️ We had some new Parents & their Kiddos helping us out so it was a great way to get to know even more Parents & Kids as everyone was in a festive mood. We’ve got an amazing community here and we welcome you to connect with us through good works at our great school. Let’s GO!

And you can be a part of that by helping Boosters (us and you…yes, you’re a Booster, too) set up, serve or clean up afterwards. *Want to get more involved? Here's your chance. Become a Boosters Board Member!*
As some of you know, this has been a rebuilding year for us. We basically started from scratch — new organization, new bylaws, the whole thing. As part of those bylaws, we set up a process where board nominations would happen in March and then members would vote on them in April. Well, March and April came and went, and we just didn't have enough people at our general meetings to make that happen the right way.

So we're going to do this through a MailChimp survey instead.

Our board can have up to 15 members. If we get 15 or fewer total applicants everyone who applies just automatically gets a seat. Being on the Boosters Board means having a voice in the decisions that shape our group and support our teachers, students and families. Being on the Board does not mean you are expected to attend every meeting or volunteer for every event. Officer positions are nominated and filled from existing Board members each year once the Board has been established.

Did you know you can deliver Snacks for the BASIS Oro Valley Primary Teachers Lounge anytime? Even if your 2nd grader got into the munchie snack box or your high schooler’s been sneaking Gatorades when no one was looking. They’ll still take them at the front desk and the Boosters will stock the shelves accordingly. So bring some in anytime. It’s definitely appreciated!

Thanks to all the Families who came out to BASIS Oro Valley Primary Boosters Park 🤾🏾‍♀️⚽️ ＰＬΛＹＤΛＴΣ. The Kids got to play while all the Parents had a lot to say to each other. We not only collected more Snacks for Teachers, but sold popsicles, water & popcorn to EVERYONE who needed refreshments at the park. We raised over $55 to support Teachers & Staff while playing and chitchatting away.

Want to thank all of you who donated to STOCK THE SNACKS yesterday and today. The Teachers & Staff always appreciate the chance to take a break and have a bite made possible by each of you. 😋 IF you missed us feel free to donate at the front office and we’ll stock them shelves right from there.
