Hi MaMaC,
We have terminated our agreement with the consulting firm initially engaged to develop the conceptual plan due to their failure to meet established deliverable timelines. While this outcome is disappointing, it was necessary to reinforce our expectation that county projects receive the same level of priority and professionalism as private sector engagements.
We have since retained a new consulting firm to complete the conceptual plan. Once the draft plan is in our hands, we will bring it forward for your review, collaboration, and feedback before proceeding to the formal bid and construction process.
I apologize for this additional delay in our timeline and I'm asking for some grace and understanding, but rest assured that we remain fully committed to advancing this project and will keep you informed as we move toward completion of the conceptual plan. All my best, Brad
