Help inspire the next generation of manufacturing and technology professionals while strengthening your workforce pipeline. The Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce , the VMA and Southeast Volusia Manufacturing and Technology Coalition will present the Manufacturing & Technology Career Exploration and Talent Showcase.

The day will feature career exploration activities for high school students, hands-on company demonstrations, and an afternoon hiring event connecting employers with qualified job seekers. Participating companies can showcase their business, engage with future talent, and recruit for current openings—all in one day.

⏰ Time: Students: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Jobseekers: 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

🏭 October is Manufacturing Month in Daytona Beach!

VMA Board Members Joe Hasson from ABB and Valerie Uy from Phemotron Systems were proud to attend the City of Daytona Beach’s official proclamation recognizing October as Manufacturing Month!

Manufacturing plays a vital role in strengthening our local economy, creating caree opportunities, and driving innovation throughout our region.

Thank you to the City of Daytona Beach and Mayor Derrick Henry for recognizing the contributions of our local manufacturers and the people who keep our industry moving forward.

She also sees enormous value in making our manufacturing community more connected and visible. Last call for the VMA Lou Fifer Education Scholarship Golf Tournament on May 1.

We are finalizing teams, sponsors, raffle items, goodie bags, and player details now. If your company wants to golf, sponsor, donate a raffle prize, or add items to the goodie bags, now is the time to get everything submitted.

This tournament supports education scholarships and brings together manufacturers, suppliers, community partners, and local business leaders for a great day on the course.
