We are excited to announce that we are hosting TWO book drives this season!

Our annual drive provides books for the Lower Cape Outreach Council’s Santa Stop program, a seasonal toy drive for children in need. We are also proud participants in the Nauset Interfaith MLK Jr. Action Team’s bi-annual book drive. The goal of their drive, which runs through Black History Month, is to diversify local classroom libraries. This year, their drive supports D-Y 1st-grade classrooms.

Just like toy drives, we aim to get new books into the hands of kids. Pick a recommended book from our book drive boxes or select one of your personal favorites from our shelves. As our thank you, book drive purchases receive 20% off, and you will be entered to win our 2025 Holiday Raffle.

LCOC is so grateful to be a beneficiary of these annual concerts. Thank you to Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater for hosting and organizing this heartwarming event in support of neighbors in need this winter.

The Lariats' next gig is at the Yule for Fuel benefit concert on December 20th at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater. We'll be playing with a lot of other great musicians and spoken word artists. Joining us is the incomparable Denya LeVine!

Our Monday morning was brightened by a visit from the Eastham Fire Department. With only 8 days to go until our Santa Stop program opens, the Eastham FD donated toys, gift certificates, and cash to spread cheer with children and families in need. We are so grateful for their participation in the Homeless for the Holidays program along with Orleans Professional Fire Fighters Local 2675 . You are all community heroes and generous friends!
