This one is for anybody in SoFlo that carries Puerto Rico in their hearts. Join us as we make posters and banners for the Puerto Rico March for Independence on July 18th in Orlando. All good marches need provocative art and visuals. We’ll provide stencils, paint, paint brushes, and a great playlist.

Afterwards we’ll share comida boricua as we hold an intentional conversation about what we know and love de Boriken. We’ll collect these messages and share them with the Orlando based boricuas on the day of the protest.

2026 marks 128 years of Puerto Rican resistance against U.S. occupation and colonization. The future awaiting Puerto Rico is one of freedom. We believe in an independent Puerto Rico within a liberated Caribbean and Latin America.

Even if you aren’t able to make the march, this is a great way to contribute and find solidarity across the Caribbean.
