1st Florida Regiment Encampment Day 3

Another fun day today! We started off with a Motivational Run, followed by Swim Quals! Everyone did amazing! So many First Class Swimmers! Mrs. Wood taught us how to turn our cammies into floatation devices! In the evening we watched a movie, Major Payne, always a favorite! We had some much needed down time throughout the day, building camaraderie and developing new friendships. Great job Young Marines!

Today was an exciting day at the Repel Tower and Confidence Course! Many Young Marines conquered their fears and accomplished the mission! Great job Young Marines!

The 1st Florida Regiment Encampment Day 1 is complete!

Attending Units:
Black Creek
Orlando Devil Dogs
Palm Beaches
Volusia
Kinston YMs out of North Carolina
And 2 brand new AVs from our newest unit in Florida, Hollywood YMs

Everyone arrived, set up camp, and cooled down in the lake!

The evening consisted of a birthday celebration, a friendly plank competition, a fire starting class with the Recruits, pulled pork sandwiches (yummy!) and a Flag Retirement Ceremony!

Everyone was excited to see old friends and meet new ones!
