Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our first PTSA General Meeting of the school year!

This year, we are offering a hybrid meeting format so families can choose to attend either in person or via Zoom. Combined attendance from both our in-person and online participants totaled 33 attendees last night. What an amazing way to kick off the year!

Please mark your calendars for our upcoming PTSA General Meetings:

October 15, 2026 @6:30
January 21, 2027 @6:30
April 15, 2027 @6:30

These meetings will be offered both in person and online, allowing you to participate in the way that works best for you and your family.

Our final PTSA General Meeting of the year will be held online only on May 20, 2027 @ 5:30. During that meeting, we will elect our new Executive Board for the following school year.

If you've ever considered becoming more involved with PTSA, now is the perfect time to learn more! Attend a meeting, ask questions, and see what we're all about. We will be seeking dedicated volunteers interested in serving in leadership positions, including President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

Joining the Executive Board is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside an incredible school staff and help make a positive impact on our students, teachers, and school community.

Happy First Day, Eagles! Whether your household is feeling a little blue, a little emotional, or full‑on celebrating with a victory dance, the PTSA is sending big smiles and even bigger encouragement your way.

Today, PTSA treated our fabulous teachers to TooJay’s breakfast as we welcomed them back for another amazing school year filled with learning, laughter, and endless Eagle pride. Thank you for everything you do for our students and for every Eagle around the lake — we appreciate you more than you know. Thank you to the PTSA board for pitching in and helping this run smooth.

CLMS is a National PTA school of Excellence for 2025-2027!

🎉 Florida PTA Continues to Lead the Nation in Family Engagement!

We are thrilled to celebrate that 38 Florida PTAs and PTSAs have been designated as 2025–2027 National PTA Schools of Excellence. After ranking third nationally last cycle, Florida has moved up to a tie for second in the nation and now represents nearly 12% of all Schools of Excellence recognized this cycle.

Nationally, 321 PTAs and PTSAs earned the 2025–2027 designation, bringing the total number of National PTA Schools of Excellence to 3,148 since the program began in 2014. This recognition honors schools and PTAs that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to building strong family-school partnerships that support every child’s success.

We congratulate each of our Florida designees and thank the dedicated volunteers, families, educators, administrators, and students who made this achievement possible. Your work is strengthening school communities and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
