As we come to the close of our very first year as the Omega Leos at UCF, I just want to take a moment to reflect on how meaningful this journey has been for all of us. Starting a new organization from the ground up was not always easy — there were challenges, uncertainties, and so much hard work behind the scenes — but together we built something truly special. In just one year, we created a community centered around compassion, leadership, and service, and I could not be more proud of everything we accomplished together.
This year, our members dedicated countless hours to serving the homeless, underserved families, and members of our local community through volunteer work, donations, outreach events, and acts of kindness big and small. Every single person who gave their time and energy helped make a real difference in someone’s life, and that impact matters more than words can express. Thank you to every member who showed up consistently, supported one another, and believed in the mission of this club. Your dedication, generosity, and heart are what made Omega Leos such a meaningful organization in its very first year.
As we finish this chapter, we also want to recognize our executive board members who are graduating and moving on to new journeys. Thank you for helping lay the foundation for this club and for pouring so much passion into making it successful. While it is bittersweet to say goodbye, it is also exciting to know that this is only the beginning for Omega Leos at UCF. We are so proud of everything we have built together, and we cannot wait to see this organization continue to grow and serve the community for many years to come. Thank you all for an unforgettable first year.
