We are looking for volunteers!

Your time helps someone take the next step in their next chapter. Gideon’s Closet is looking for compassionate volunteers to help us fold and sort donated clothing. 💚

Right now we need extra hands to fold, sort, and organize the clothing that comes in, so it is ready for our neighbors who pick out clothes. This is usually for one hour to an hour and a half. ❤️

God can use your willing hands to restore dignity and to help open doors. If you would like to volunteer, please email us at [email protected]. Together, we can help our neighbors begin a new chapter! 💚

We photograph our shopping bags, and never our neighbors who need the clothes.

This is our regular practice because people's privacy and dignity matter. Many of the people we serve are survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence, veterans, people coming out of incarceration, and single parents starting over. Being seen is not a small thing when someone is starting over again. ❤️

Every neighbor who gets clothes, chooses their own clothes. We do not hand them a predetermined outfit. They choose what fits them. Your donations help make that choice possible, and we are so grateful. 💚

Gideon’s Closet provides free clothing to people in transition across Central Florida.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing community partner, Jobs Partnership! God is so good, and we are deeply thankful for their donation. 💚

We needed $750.00 to finish fixing our truck and get it up and running. Jobs Partnership donated $763.00 to cover the cost! Their kindness helped Gideon's Closet become one step closer to going mobile! 😊

We want to say a HUGE thank you to Boltz Media for freshening up our website. They listened, and it is obvious they align and care about our mission.

We have added our community partner Morningstar Storage who has graciously given us a storage unit and a great deal for a second storage unit.

We could not do what we do without our amazing community partners. It truly takes a village. ❤️

We are in our first phase of Gideon's Closet going mobile. The stage is getting the truck up and running. We are $700.00 away from our goal. We are going mobile because over 95% of the people who come to us have no transportation to get to us. This is so we can go to them and the non-profits. We are bringing our store to them to take the stress of trying to get to us off their plate.
