Some people clock out at the end of the day. We just switch habitats.

One minute we're watching wings catch the morning light, the next we're teaching about tortoises in a hotel room. Some nights end late, some mornings start early, and somewhere in between we’re building a future where wild things still belong.

This is what working day and night for wildlife really looks like. Not always glamorous, sometimes muddy, sometimes exhausting, always worth it.

If you're here, you're part of the story too.

Make sure you're following along because the wild future we're building is just getting started.

My dear friend and neighbor, Jodi Carnevale, co-founder of Madi’s Mission, needs our support. Jodi has dedicated her life to animals, education, and conservation — bringing wildlife ambassadors into schools, libraries, and communities to inspire compassion and awareness.

This summer, Jodi faced major surgery that led to serious complications. She now needs another surgery and a few months of recovery, leaving her unable to work. On top of her own medical struggles, she shouldered the vet bills for Toothless, the baby sloth she fought to save, despite ultimately losing him.

While Jodi heals, she still must provide for the animals in her care. Donations will help cover:
• Food, housing, and basic needs for her animal ambassadors
• Veterinary bills from Toothless’s care
• Support for Madi’s Mission programs during her recovery

Jodi has always given selflessly, asking for nothing in return. Now is our chance to lift her up. Please donate or share her GoFundMe to help her continue her mission of compassion: https://gofund.me/83d9fc97f
