The final match concluded today for the 2026 Nationals! What an amazing 21 days of play by all of our national teams. Both AAU and USAV Nationals were an absolute blast, and to see our teams peaking at the end of the season, like they did, has been so rewarding!
The national season can be long...it can be tiring - emotionally, mentally, and physically. It can make even the strongest question themselves...the process... Sure, there are always things we want to improve upon and do better and we learned a lot this season that we will continue to improve upon, but we started the season with a goal of being more “gritty” as a club. That’s absolutely what was shown in so many of our matches over the last 3 weeks. To see teams battle back from being down as much as 7-14 in a Set 3 is unheard of. Our girls, coaches, and parents believed. On the court, the teams battled together and for one another.
It’s not lip service when we say this is our family. To see that family rally around one another in the last 3 weeks, to cheer on teams’ runs for the podium has been so very special. Images poured in of you all watching the live streams of matches of other teams and then celebrating their successes. How amazing to feel that support across the club! 💙
