Yes!

We are not special.
To believe otherwise is pure ego.
We are on this spinning blue ball -- with every other Earthling -- in a solar system, in a galaxy, in a universe we can't even conceptualize.
Our life will not impact any of that any more than the life of a dolphin, a monkey, or a pig.
We will be dust and forgotten.
In that, we are equal.
And we owe our equals the favor of not creating unnecessary suffering and undue burden.
