VFW Post 2093 Community Band

VFW Post 2093 Community Band This 25+ year old band is organized to support VFW Post 2093 in Orlando and is dedicated to entertaining and supporting veterans and the local community.

The Community Band has been performing together for more than twenty-five years.We are a supporting entity of VFW Post 2093 in Orlando, Florida, performing 12 to 15 concerts annually for special occasions. The Band rehearses one night each week and new members are invited to join to make music and socialize. The band originally formed in 1984 as the Winter Park Community Band and met at the high s

chool. Around 1998 it moved to the VFW Post and became the VFW Community Band. The band is currently under the direction of Wilbur "Smitty" Smith. He is the band's second conductor and took over the reigns in 2004. If ou are a musician in the Orlando area, join us – you’ll be glad you did!

The Oak Grove Memorial Day is cancelled.
The next gig that is on the books is Glenn Haven Memorial Day. We will see🎶🎵
