Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, a private nonprofit organization, is the largest provider of homeless services in Central Florida.

Helping Central Florida neighbors experiencing homelessness move toward stable housing while building the future of homelessness services through The Foundations Project. Our mission is to transform the lives of homeless men, women and children by providing crucial services to end their crisis of homelessness. The Coalition operates two campuses, both located in downtown Orlando. The main campus includes the Center for Women & Families (CWF) and the Men's Service Center (MSC). Through the generosity and support of our community, we provide crucial programs and services to help our clients regain lives of independence and self-sufficiency.

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄?

Homelessness is not just a housing crisis. It's also an urgent public health issue.

Having a safe, stable place to live plays a major role in a person's overall health and well-being. Without it, individuals experiencing homelessness face increased exposure to dangerous weather, chronic stress, limited access to medical care, and health conditions that might otherwise be easily treated.

You can help create safer, healthier futures for our neighbors. Learn how to get involved at centralfloridahomeless.org.

What began as a small emergency shelter has grown into a campus serving men, women, and children throughout Central Florida through emergency shelter, diversion, outreach, and housing-focused programs.

Our services have grown. Our campus is expanding. But our purpose remains the same: helping our neighbors move from the crisis of homelessness toward a place to call home.

This 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, we recognize how far we’ve come alongside incredible donors and volunteers like you, and how much work still lies ahead. 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗲’𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗿𝘀.

Donations can help turn an ordinary day into a moment of joy, creativity, and childhood fun.

Costumes can also be purchased through 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 and shipped directly to the Coalition.

A big thank you to Journey Church Church for spending time serving alongside us at the Coalition. 💙

Their volunteer group jumped in across campus, helping organize our donation room and serve meals to our guests.

Their time with us was a meaningful example of faith in action and what it looks like to serve others with compassion, generosity, and love for your neighbors.

We’re so thankful to Journey Church for showing up for our community and supporting the individuals and families we serve.

🌎Happy World Habitat Day! This year, for World Habitat Day, we reflect on what it would take to create adequate housing for all.

We are thankful for City of Orlando - Government, Orange County FL, and federal government players like Senator Frost, who have committed to partnering with our mission to help individuals experiencing homelessness return to stable housing.

Through their contributions to the Foundations Project, we are building pathways home for women and families with children in the Central Florida area.

You can help fill an urgent need today. 💙

Our supply of new men’s underwear is running low, and we need our community’s help to restock.

Your donation puts an essential item directly into the hands of a guest staying at the Coalition, helping ensure the men we serve have access to clean clothing and everyday necessities.

✏️Technology is the future.

Through the youth technology lab, our young guests will have access to computers, creative software, and digital literacy and instruction. Students will be able to find homework help, explore STEM pathways, and develop skills that will make them attractive to the workforce.

Myth vs. Fact 📖

The issue of homelessness is unique because losing housing affects many areas of life beyond shelter, which is why comprehensive solutions are key. As we face this tough reality, we must have compassion for the hardworking individuals who are facing unexpected challenges that lead them to experiencing homelessness.
