Life is so...constant. Perhaps that is because we women are, by nature, caretakers for many of those around us. We are so busy being all things to everyone that we are seldom dealing with our own issues. Always taking on the cares, concerns and stresses of others and lumping them right onto our own.

One of the things that has helped keep my balance as I journey through this amazing thing called life, is my time with God. TAKE A BREAK each morning and share a few minutes with God. Read his Word or even a short devotional and let it percolate in your mind as you go about your day.

Proverbs 19:23 ~ The fear of the Lord leads to life; then one rests content, untouched by trouble.

Remember our strength comes from God. Remember that He loves us and our family and friends more than we could ever imagine. Remember that He can be trusted to take care of us.

It’s only Wednesday, but so far this week has been extremely challenging. It seemed that every time I turned around there was another difficult situation to have to deal with.

Whewwwww!!! As the issues continued to pile up, I had to stop, take a deep breath and remind myself that my strength comes from the Lord. I had to really dig deep. In doing so, I realized that the only thing I could in the situation was to change MY very own attitude about was happening. I did that by reminding myself that God loves and values me very much. That he is well aware of my situation and the difficulty I was facing. He has a purpose in it all. Somehow in the midst of all the chaos, I found my value in Him. In doing so, I was completely able to change my attitude and perception which in turn alleviated so much of the stress I was carrying.

Feeling grateful today for a Holy Partnership with the One who never fails to assure me that HE’S GOT MY BACK and guess what?! ? He’s Got Your Back Too!!!
