ATU International Latino Caucus ATU International Latino Caucus is a part of the Amalgamated Transit Union. We must address the needs of all our members.

Our focus is to encourage all union members to participate in their local union, develop and encourage union leaders and support our community. We exist to advance the principles and goals set forth in the Constitution and General Laws of the Amalgamated Transit Union. We have formed to strengthen the A.T.U.'s resolve to fight discrimination of any kind...

Our thoughts and prayers are with ATU members, their families and loved ones in Venezuela. This horrible earthquake brings us daily sad stories, but also hope. I will discuss with the ATUILC board efforts to assist in the various ATUILC chapters.. Good evening brothers and sisters. I am sad to report that our brother, Financial Secretary/ Treasurer, Manuel "Manny" Colon from ATU Local 820, in Jersey City was gunned down and killed on Father's Day. Manny was a great supporter of the ATU International Latino Caucus and attended our conferences. Most of all he was a dedicated Union officer and a friend. On behalf of the officers of the ATUILC, Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the ATU 820 membership. May you rest in peace brother.

ATUILC President Lou Alzate, Recording Secretary Vanessa Perez, Canadian Region Representative Marvin Alfred and Northwest Region Representative Stephanie Binschus attended the ATU International Women’s Caucus Conference this weekend in Niagra Falls. Two years ago Vanessa attended her first Women’s Caucus conference and returned this year with a group of 16 women from California! The West Coast was represented! 🌴☀️💪🏽
