Equipping students to take the Word of God into every person’s world! The Trustees sought not to recreate the 60s, 70s, 80s, or 90s.

In the tradition and values of our forerunner, Florida Bible College (FBC), Clarity Christian College continues in the tradition and values of Florida Bible College (FBC). From its beginning in 1962, FBC had a unique vision and mission that was on the cutting edge of a movement to follow 2 Timothy 2:2, fulfilling the Great Commission. Clarity College continues this effort to develop believers in Jesus Christ into fully-committed, biblically grace-oriented, knowledgeable, articulate, balanced, evangelistic disciples. These disciples are then faithful, competent, and effective as they do the things God created for them to do. Part of what made it unique was its willingness to think outside the box and to embrace unconventional methods that were controversial in the eyes of the more staid, traditional church of its day. It moved north to a new home in the former Hollywood Beach Hotel in 1971, where it grew to become the largest non-denominational Bible college in the world. In the 1980s it again relocated, this time to the Poinciana development near the central Florida town of Kissimmee, before finally moving back to south Florida before operations were suspended in the late 1990s. They adopted and executed a strategic plan to support their vision for a Biblically grace-oriented, culturally-relevant, mission-driven school. With the leadership of President Dr. Stan Ponz classes in the new era began on August 29, 2016. In 2022 the Trustees of Florida Bible College voted to change the name of the college to Clarity Christian College. Clarity Christian College stands on the legacy of a clear Gospel, that salvation is by faith alone, in Christ alone.

Dear Friends of Clarity Christian College,

It is with a heavy heart that I share a difficult update concerning our dear friend, brother, Florida Bible College alumnus, and faithful servant in the ministry of the Gospel, Dan O’Leary.

Dan’s health has declined significantly, and his doctors have informed him and his family that he likely has approximately one month to live. While this news is deeply sobering, we are grateful that Dan is surrounded by loving family, faithful friends, and the abiding presence of the Lord.

Dan has been a man of integrity, faith, and encouragement, and his life has touched many through his love for Christ and His people. Even in this season, Dan continues to reflect a quiet strength and trust in God’s perfect will.

We ask you to join us in prayer—for Dan, for peace and comfort, for strength and grace, and for his family as they walk through these coming days. Pray also that the Lord’s presence would be especially near, and that Dan would experience His peace that surpasses all understanding.

As believers, we grieve, but not as those without hope. Our confidence rests in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, and we trust the Lord with both our questions and our tears.

Thank you for lifting Dan and his loved ones before the throne of grace.

For His glory alone,

Dr. Stan Ponz
President

Remembering Joe Alessi

Today, on what would have been his birthday, we pause to remember and honor our dear friend and former board member of Clarity Christian College/Florida Bible College, Joe Alessi.

Joe’s wisdom, faith, and steady leadership helped shape the mission and direction of our college in meaningful ways. His love for the Lord and his heart for ministry continue to inspire all of us who had the privilege of serving alongside him.

Though he is no longer with us, Joe’s legacy of faithfulness and clarity in the Gospel lives on through the students and ministries he helped support. We thank God for his life, his service, and the eternal impact he made for Christ.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:21

🌅 Be Still. Know. Trust. 🌅

“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
— Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)

In a world that moves fast, God invites us to slow down.
To be still.
To rest in His presence.
To remember that He is in control.

Take a moment today to pause, breathe, and trust in His unshakable power and love. 🙏

💛 If this verse speaks to your heart, share it with someone who needs peace today.
