Eleven years ago today, our family changed forever when Keri Anne’s life was taken by a drunk driver.

For eleven years, we have worked hard to honor Keri’s life by educating others, raising awareness, and advocating for safer roads. And with drunk, impaired, and distracted driving continuing to claim innocent lives each and every day, our mission is more important than ever.

The work is far from over.

But today, we will remember our Keri. We will remember her big smile, her bigger heart, and all the lives that she has touched along the way. 🧡

World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is observed each year to remember those who have been killed or seriously injured in road traffic incidents, support the families and survivors whose lives have been forever changed, and recognize the first responders, medical professionals, advocates, and others working to make our roads safer.

This year, our World Day of Remembrance 5K/10K is being held in conjunction with World Day of Remembrance. That means November 15 is about more than running or walking. It is a day to come together as a community to remember, support, and act.

We’ll honor those affected by road traffic incidents here in our own community and around the world, while continuing to support the mission of The Keri Anne DeMott Foundation and our work to prevent future tragedies.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 7th Annual Day in the Park ! 🧡

We are so grateful to everyone who came out, spent the day with us, supported the event, and helped make it such a fun afternoon for our New Jersey community.

A special thank you to all of the families, businesses, community partners, volunteers, and supporters who donated food, supplies, time, and energy to help make this free event possible.

We were also glad to welcome Councilman Nadera and appreciate his support of the event and the Paramus community.

And of course, we have to mention the annual softball showdown with the Paramus Police Department…

This year, the belt came back home. 🏆🥎

Thank you again to everyone who helped make the day so special! We loved getting to spend it with all of you!
