We were especially honored to receive the Dr. Jeff Sadowsky Infinite Legacy Award 2026—a recognition that truly touched our hearts. This race was founded by Dr. Sadowsky 16 years ago and it has grown to over 1000 participants!🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️

This marks our 10th year participating in this race, and we’re already excited for 2027! We’re deeply thankful for the generous donations made to the Foundation, which allow us to continue as a sponsor and keep Brooke’s legacy shining brightly.

On March 5, 2014, our daughter Brooke became a Donor Hero. 🪽 In her final act of generosity, Brooke shared 5 gifts of life and 2 gifts of sight, giving others the chance to live, see, and experience moments their families once feared were lost.💚🩵♻️

The BrookeStrong Foundation gathers each year for the GR8 to DON8 race —a day to honor Brooke’s life and the ripple effects of the gifts she shared.

Your support helps raise awareness, inspire donor registrations, and bring hope to families who are still waiting for their miracle—the sweetness of passing life forward—because life truly is sweetest when shared.

Together, let’s run in honor of Brooke and all donor heroes, walk in love, and celebrate the Gift of Life.

The 2026 Donate Life Float in the Rose Parade is Entry Number 70, celebrating its 23rd year and titled "Treasure Every Moment Together," featuring stories of organ, eye, and tissue recipients and donors to inspire others to register.

We're proud to celebrate Aubrey Miller a standout graduate from Boone High School. In recognition of her academic excellence, community involvement, and heartfelt essay on the importance of Organ Donation Aubrey was awarded the 2025 Brookestrong Foundation Cheer Scholarship. The award was announced by Coach Cindy Hutsell during the year-end banquet.

Aubrey is attending the University of Central Florida 💛🖤to major in Nursing, and she’s already off to an amazing start—having pledged Alpha Delta Pi (ΑΔΠ)!💎🤍💙

Her compassion, dedication, and leadership truly inspire us, and we know she’ll make an incredible nurse one day. 🩺

Found this treasure of a rock at my college. Spreading awareness for the wonders that come out of organ donation.. lives that are saved through the beautiful sacrifices we make when we decide to make a decision to give to others when we are no longer here. It’s been 11 years since we lost our daughter, Brooke, and yet there are still moments when the love and support surrounding us make it feel as though she is still so very present. April 15th was one of those moments.

To the incredible sisters of KD—thank you. Walking into that room, hearing the applause, feeling your warmth, and seeing both her old and new sisters pay tribute to her memory was deeply moving—an experience we will never forget. The way you continue to include us, year after year, is a gift we never expected but will forever treasure.

The rock painting activity was so special, and we’re thrilled to imagine all the places those rocks will travel! In fact, we just saw that one has already been found and will share that post shortly!!!

Though Brooke’s time in your sisterhood was brief, it was deeply meaningful to her. The fact that you continue to honor her life reminds us just how powerful love and connection can be. We laughed, we cried, and most importantly—we remembered.

Thank you for holding space for Brooke in your hearts, and for wrapping us in that same love. We are so very grateful.
