✨ And just like that… the project is COMPLETE!

A huge thank you to our amazing partners at DPR Construction and friends for helping give New Image a NEW IMAGE! 💙 Our new door wrap, refreshed signage, and updated look represent we got NEXT and where we’re going next.

And talk about timing… while the finishing touches were being completed here, just two blocks away we were with construction companies discussing plans for our future Forever Home. 🏗️🙌🏾

One building is getting refreshed while another is getting ready to rise.

🎨✨ Our kids’ art is officially on display!
This summer, the incredibly talented artist Njeri Kinuthia poured into our youth through an amazing art program and the results were phenomenal!

Now through October, you can experience their work at the Art Cube, located at 814 W. Church Street at the INSTRUCT building. The exhibit is visible throughout the day, but you definitely want to see it at night when our students’ images are projected across the back wall! 🌙🎨 And if you catch it at just the right time, you may even hear our Good in the Hood song blasting through the speakers. 🎶💙

We are so proud that our kids aren’t just learning about art they’re becoming the artists whose work is being displayed in their own community.

And just like that… the first week of school is officially DONE! 🎉📚
What better way to celebrate than with a VIP Chef Experience from our amazing friends at Koupedwet Catering! 👨🏾‍🍳🔥 Our kids enjoyed wings made their way BBQ, jerk, buffalo or plain; with fries and a drink. And of course, he had to add a little Photo Booth fun! 📸

Chef Fredo, thank you for YEARS of showing up, celebrating our kids, and pouring love into our community. 💙

✈️🏥 Behind the Curtain at Orlando Regional Medical Center! 🏥✈️

One of our final summer field trips was one for the books! Our New Image Youth Center teens got a once-in-a-lifetime look at healthcare careers in action made possible through a special partnership with Christie Lites. From talking with emergency flight pilots about the logistics of getting patients to critical care fast, to getting hands-on with medical robots in the Bioskills Lab, our teens experienced firsthand what it takes to save lives every single day.

This is what NIYC programming is all about: opening doors, sparking curiosity, and showing our young people that careers in medicine, aviation, and beyond are within their reach. 💛💙

A huge thank you to Orlando Regional Medical Center and Christie Lites for making this unforgettable, inspiring experience possible for our teens!

👟✨ And that’s a wrap on Summer Camp 2026! ✨👟

For the third year in a row, our incredible friends at Christie Lites have made sure our summer campers head back to school with brand-new shoes!

What a special VIP experience! Before the store even opened to the public, our kids had the entire store to themselves for an hour receiving first-class service as they picked out their very own pair of back-to-school shoes. Watching their smiles and excitement never gets old.

A heartfelt thank you to Christie Lites and adidas for your continued generosity and for helping our youth walk confidently into a new school year.

💙 And just like that... our final Back-to-School Giveaway is complete! 🎒📚

Today, we had the privilege of serving the Mercy Drive community, wrapping up another incredible back-to-school season.

This year, because of the generosity of our amazing community, we were able to provide backpacks and school supplies to students in Parramore, Holden Heights, Mercy Drive, Bithlo, and Oak Ridge.

Together, we helped prepare more than 375 students for a successful school year!

🇭🇹 Didy’s Update ❤️

It’s been a while since we’ve shared an update on Didy, but one thing is certain...
We cannot forget him.

Although he is now in Haiti, his journey is far from over. Every day, we’re reminded that this isn’t just about one young man it’s about family, community, and believing that every person deserves hope and opportunity.

Didy continues to adjust to a life he never expected, facing each day with resilience and determination. While this chapter has been challenging, his spirit remains strong, and so does ours.

We ask that you continue to keep him in your prayers, encourage him when you can, and stand with us as we continue to advocate for his future. We are believing that this is not the end of his story.

Please don’t forget Didy.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
And let’s continue to fight for the day he can return home to the community that loves him.
Because at New Image, our commitment to our youth doesn’t end when life gets hard it grows even stronger. 💙
