Love and Care International

Love and Care Ministries International is a Christian non profit organization dedicated to transforming lives together with love and care.

As an expression of God’s unconditional love for all people, especially vulnerable children, we serve alongside the poor and oppressed. We hope to live as followers of Christ by being active, visible bearers of God’s love. Love and Care Ministries Int'l serves as the hands and feet of Christ in five main ways. Church Ministries, Sponsoring and educating missionaries to minister to people’s needs,

helping orphan children, investing in community development and helping families in need of care or during disasters. Relying on God’s grace and Spirit, we affirm the truth of the gospel and our hope in Christ through our character, speech, actions, and in the signs of God’s power at work in individual lives, in the communities where we work, and in all creation.

Many Christians now are doing what the Jews did to Jesus but to the Holy Spirit. Both are the same because they rejected the representation of God in their timeline.

Without the Lordship of the Holy Spirit in your life, there is no freedom.

Just before the sun rose this morning, our American dad, Pastor Dwight Edwards, transitioned from earth and witnessed his first sunrise from heaven.
He was a deeply important part of our family. When we moved to the United States, he welcomed us with wide-open arms and loved us as his own.

Pastor Dwight also served as the President of Love and Care Ministries International, and partnered with our dad to touch countless lives through his compassion, leadership, and unwavering faith.

While our hearts are saddened by his passing, we rejoice in knowing he is now reunited with our Heavenly Father and with our dad, John Arul. We are grateful for the life he lived and the love he shared so freely.

Please keep the Edwards family in your prayers during this time.

For six whole hours, the Son of God was suspended between heaven and earth. And at the height of His suffering on the cross, He cried out in the deep darkness, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matt. 27:45–46).

For the first time, Jesus addressed His Father as “God.” The Father had forsaken the Son. As Judge of the universe, God had to turn His back on His Son, who was carrying the filth of the world’s sins, for His eyes are too pure to behold evil (Hab. 1:13).

If the Father had not turned His back on His Son, He would have to turn His back on you today when you call out to Him in your hour of need. But because Jesus has taken your place, today, you take His place, and you have God’s face smiling on you always!

Right now, God’s face is smiling on you. His countenance is shining on you. I can stand before you and declare, “The Lord make His face shine upon you” (Num. 6:25–26). And it is all because Jesus has paid the price for God to never leave you nor forsake you (Heb. 13:5).

As Judge, God turned His back on His Son. But as Father, He cried. His heart was broken because Christ was never more pleasing to Him than when He was on the cross.

Do you remember what Jesus said? “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again” (John 10:17). If you are a parent, you love each one of your children equally. But when one of them does something special for you out of love, it touches your heart and you just want to run to him and hug him.

That was what happened at the cross, except that the Father could not embrace His Son. Instead, He had to turn His back on His Son because our sins had to be punished in His Son’s body.

Beloved, when you cry out to the Father for help today, know that He hears you and will surely help you. Because of Jesus, He will never turn His back on you!

Word of the year: Blessed assurance!

Blessed assurance is the unshakable confidence we have in God’s promises, knowing that He is faithful and trustworthy. It’s the peace that comes from knowing we are secure in His love, regardless of life’s uncertainties. This assurance is not based on our circumstances, but on the unwavering truth of God’s word. In every season, we can rest in the knowledge that He is with us, guiding us, and working all things together for our good. It’s a deep, abiding peace that transcends understanding, rooted in the unchanging nature of God’s faithfulness.

Let’s embrace this new year with confidence, knowing that our hope is anchored in His unchanging love and grace.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of a dear friend and member of our church family, who was tragically taken from us in a car accident. He was a true blessing in our lives, always present for the important moments, the big milestones, and the quiet times when a kind word or helping hand was needed. He touched the lives of so many with his generosity, warmth, and unwavering support.

Our hearts are with his loving wife, son, and daughter during this unimaginable time. Please join us in lifting them up in prayer, asking for strength and peace to surround them. We will miss him deeply but are comforted by the legacy of love and care he leaves behind.

You will forever remain in our hearts. 🕊️

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of Arul Thambu. A devoted husband, loving father, and vibrant spirit, Arul was a beacon of positivity and creativity. His boundless energy and innovative ideas were matched only by his deep desire to help others and bring joy to those around him.

Arul dreamed of making a difference and had plans to enrich lives with his talents and generosity. While his time with us was far too short, his legacy will live on through the impact he made and the love he shared.

Our thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Today would have been Pastor Arul’s 67th birthday.

How can I write a fitting birthday tribute for my dad, now in heaven. How can I explain how he exemplified leadership, love, and a life of obedience? How can I express why the memory of him is still cherished by so many who knew him, every single day?

I can show by this scripture from the bible :

“So the Philistines were subdued and they stopped invading Israel’s territory. Throughout Samuel’s lifetime, the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines.” - (1 Samuel 7:13)

The divine restrain that was keeping the Philistine out of Israel’s territorial borders was connected to the life of the judge—Samuel. When Samuel passed away, the philistines (Palestines) had the right to return to Israel’s borders. Philistines was in war with Israel several time until they captured the Ark of the Covenant.

My dad was a Samuel type leader. His leadership stopped certain demonic activities from happening around him. He functioned in this kind of Spiritual dimension with priestly, prophetic and judicial mantle. The prophecies he spoke over people has come true for so many people some he didn’t get to see but we see evidence of life with righteous altar that connected the believers to the Courts of Heaven.

My dad just like Samuel, he raised so many to be like David and also offered so many destiny shelters in the Body of Christ. Many still need the Spiritual Covering of these Samuel type leaders until they come into their God-given destiny .

I am so grateful to be his daughter! I got the privilege of a front row seat to watch his life discipline, hard work and day by day walking in Faith. His example continues to guide me as I navigate my own journey of spiritual growth, keeping my focus steadfastly on the Word. - Sophia Lilyquist

My version of Psalm 91 prayer for my family:

Thank you Jesus for helping my family and I to dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the comfort covering of the Almighty Father.

For me and my family, Lord you are our refuge, our fortress, in whom we trust.

There is no doubt that You will save me and my household from hunter’s trap and from deadly diseases and plague.

Lord you cover us with your feathers. You provide shelter for us under your wings. Your faithful promises (word of God) are our armor and protection.

We will not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day from the evil one.

We will not be afraid of diseases that come in the dark or sickness that strikes at noon.

At our side 1,000 people may fall, or even 10,000 right beside us. But we will not be destroyed.

We will only observe with our eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

The Lord is our protection. We have made God Most High our place of safety.

I am confident in the Lord that nothing bad will happen to us. No disaster will come to our home anymore.

You have commanded your angels to be in charge of us. They will watch over us wherever we go.(even if we are separated for little while)

They will catch us with their hands. And we will not hit our foot on a rock.

We will crush the evil; we will trample the strongmen and all the named and unnamed spirits.

Thank you Lord you said, you will save us because we love you. You will protect us because we know you.

You are the God who promised us that you will answer when we call. Our God you said you will be with us in times of trouble. You will rescue us and honor us.

You promised to give us long life and we will see how you can save.
