As a teen page FB automatically hides any posts with curse words, all caps and spam… Please keep everything PG for the sake of younger teens and respect for those who don’t want to be subjected to it…

IT is not our desire to ban people, but if you want nothing to do with God and are only here to hurt others – you don’t’ need to be a part of this page… We will pray for you, but won’t allow you to continue.. HELLO ALL YOU HAPPY PEOPLE! One of the hardest things I think about being a Christian is dealing with the feeling of not being worthy of God's grace and mercy especially when you just messed up or didn't have the best day but reminding yourself that God has made you worthy despite knowing all of your sins and that He loves us more than we can think or imagine. It is a constant tug of war between these two mindsets. Our shortcomings and mistakes make us feel unworthy and a phony but as our understanding of Jesus increases we realize we can never sin so much that Jesus' sacrifice becomes obselete that this righteousness that we have been gifted will never fade away or be snatched away. I constantly have to remind myself to give the same grace and mercy God gives me to myself. I can be my worst critic. I can be my worst enemy and I just have to step back and say, "TonY, nothing you can do can disqualify you from the seat at the table that Jesus paid for so give yourself some slack. You are human after all and the very fact that you worry about letting God down shows the work He is doing in you and your heart for Him." I know I'm probably not the only one who deals with these thoughts and I just want to say you are saved and redeemed. We walk in victory. We don't work for salvation we work because of our salvation and when we mess up Jesus already has it covered. -TonY

Earlier this month one of my best friends, this is someone that I called brother died unexpectedly. It just goes to show you that life's difficulties and tragedies have no age limit. I didn't think I was going to have to deal with the death of a friend for at least 45 or 50 years but life unfortunately had different plans and if I'm being completely transparent I have not been handling it well. I have been bouncing between sad and angry. My sadness quickly turns into anger and it's almost like I've locked up emotionally. When I told another best friend about this he said, " Youre staying angry because it's easier to deal with than your sadness and hurt. You're familiar with anger. It's a hiding place where you don't have to confront your sadness. Whenever the want to cry came, you chose anger instead to mask it. But right now, you need to be hurt." When he said this I began to weep and I could feel something loosen in my spirit. I could feel like I just let go of something and I realized that was my first time crying about it. So I'm here to tell some of you who have not allowed yourselves to feel your feelings the same thing my good brother told me, "Right now, you need to hurt." You need to let God comfort you. You need to let it hurt so that the healer can meet you in it. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. If you don't you'll stay stuck like I was last week. It's not completely better but there's a huge difference between dealing with this stuff with God and without Him. It's too much to handle on our own we have to let Him help us carry it. -TonY

HELLO ALL YOU HAPPY PEOPLE! My youth pastor once said, "there isn't going to be a U-Haul following your hearse when you die." Basically saying that you can't take any of your material things with you when you die. All the money you make in this life stays here when you die. But you know what you can take with you to Heaven? Your family, friends, friends that you call family, and loved ones. That's why I make sure I spend time with them. Show them Jesus. When they come to me with concerns and troubles I point them to Jesus. Share this gift of the Gospel that we have been given. Take every moment you can because you don't know when it'll be your last chance. You never know what one mention of Jesus can do in someone's life. We are His ambassadors. We are His hands and feet. His mouthpiece. His vessel. We have been given this mission to go and make disciples. This doesn't mean you need to start a church and go on a huge trip like Paul to all sorts of places. You have people who need encouragement right in your home, school, job, friend group, etc. Start right there and watch lives be transformed. -TonY

HELLO ALL YOU HAPPY PEOPLE! "If God allowed this to happen then He was too weak to stop it." That's just not true that's just how we justify when God does something we didn't like or allows something to happen that we didn't want to happen. When we're angry with Him this type of thinking becomes more and more justifiable. He let this or that happen. He let this person die. He let this sickness happen. He let me go through this or that so He must not really be an all powerful God or He doesn't really love us. What we need to realize is we're not always going to understand what God is doing. I've had plenty of times of not understanding what God is doing. Why did He let me break my leg and it heal weird so now I slightly limp and am more prone to foot pain? Why did He let my grandpa die even after I prayed over Him? Why did my mom have two strokes? Why did we have to go through the pandemic? Why did me and my wife have to struggle with infertility? I say all this to show you when I say God has a plan and purpose for all of the confusing and hurtful times I'm not just giving you a cheap Christian answer. Im telling you that I've hurt and I've been angry with God but I stuck with Him. At times I had to come back like the prodigal son but all that matters is that I came back and God proved Himself all powerful and faithful. He showed His love, grace, mercy, peace, and kindness. Let me tell you I'd rather deal with all my anxieties, fears, confusion, and whatever else happens in this life with God than without Him. If something has happened to you that made you turn away from God I'm telling you to turn around and trust Him once again. -TonY

HELLO ALL YOU HAPPY PEOPLE! All we need to do is look at the Bible to see how Jesus sees sin and how we see sin are incredibly different. We see sin as this thing that completely seperates us from the love of God where as God says nothing can seperate you from my love. We condemn ourselves when we backslide thinking that what we did was the last straw but God says I've separated your transgressions as far as the east is from the west. Where we let sin and our mistakes mark the end of our story God says I wrote your story and I'm not done with you yet. Sin tries to label us but our identity is found in Christ alone. You see it with the woman at the well. You see it with the woman caught in adultery. Their sin, mistakes, and past tried to write their story. Tried to say this is how your life is and this is how it will always be. This is how people will always know you and how this world will label you. You see it with Paul after the road to Damascus and Peter after denying Jesus. They were one way but after encountering Jesus they were a whole different way. Their mindset and how they saw themselves and their mistakes totally changed. Our mindset needs to change. That sin that we just committed doesn't mark the end of the story. The sin that once caused a huge rip between us and God no longer has the power to do so. Stop condemning yourself. We don't need to try harder to keep sin from separating us we just need to run to God. We need to worship deeper. Pursue greater. The more time you give to God the more you'll see sin dwindle in your life. The work has already been done by Jesus now all we need to do is walk with Him. -TonY

HELLO ALL YOU HAPPY PEOPLE! Esua gave up his birthright for a bowl of red lentil stew. It probably consisted of water, red lentils, other veggies, and some spices. That's what he was willing to trade his birth right for, just some vegetable stew. However, before looking down at Esua ask yourself what does this world trade their spiritual birthright for everyday? Temporary pleasures. Sin and vices that never satisfy. Depravity that seems to get worse and worse everyday. Works of the flesh that lead to emptiness. Useless things absolutely useless unfulfilling things that take more than they give, a false promise. Just leaving you hurt, discouraged, depressed, confused, angry, sad, hollow, etc. Listen, God has a seat at His table for us. Jesus has made it possible for us to become sons and daughters. He died for us so that all of our sins could be forgiven. He offers new everlasting life. Hope, peace, joy, and love. Power, wisdom, insight, understanding, healing, and guidance. This is what God offers and every day we have a choice. Are we going to embrace our spiritual birthright or are we going to pursue more meaningless things? Keep choosing God even when the world doesn't. -TonY

HELLO ALL YOU HAPPY PEOPLE! Why do I love Easter/ Resurrection Sunday? For those of you who don't know, Easter is actually my favorite holiday. I love the vibes of it. There's food. There's family. It's spring. It's nice outside not too hot and not too cold. You ever had a deviled egg before? Those things may be called "deviled" but they are manna from Heaven. I could eat a whole plate myself. It used to be my busiest but most fun day getting to do the Easter play at my old church. I love Easter. I also love Easter because it's the end of an approximately 4,033 year journey. It is the end of the separation from an intimate relationship with God caused by sin and the beginning of reunion and intimacy with God through Jesus. It is the prodigal child (us) coming home to God because it was now possible because of Jesus. God throughout the Old Testament is reaching out to His children. He wanted to be near us and had a plan in mind of how He was going to make it happen and that is the story that starts on Christmas with the birth of Jesus and ends on Easter with His death and resurrection. His birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection. The foundation of our hope and salvation. Easter is the beginning of the "...and they all lived happily ever after" that will happen when Jesus returns. That's why I love Easter. -TonY
