In celebration of Gopher Tortoise Day, the Wildlands Conservation team will be joining the Turtle Survival Alliance for a fun day supporting conservation efforts at First Magnitude Brewing Co. in Gainsville on April 11th.

Join us for our Fall Bioblitz at Split Oak Forest in Orange County, Florida!
When: October 24 7pm - Oct 26 7pm
Where: Split Oak Forest, 12175 Clapp Simms Duda Rd, Orlando, FL 32832
Calling all nature enthusiasts, citizen scientists, and volunteers! It's time to explore the incredible biodiversity right in our backyard and make a positive impact on conservation efforts!
What's a Bioblitz? It's a fun and intensive survey where we'll work together to identify and document as many species of plants, animals, and fungi as possible within Split Oak Forest over a short period of time.
We will be documenting our observations on iNaturalist, please make an account if you don't have one already and join our project at the link in our bio.
You can blitz at any time but we have two hikes planned:
8:30am Saturday 10/25 with JR and Valerie
9am Sunday 10/26 with Bob Stein
