O projeto ARTE QUE SALVA leva telas e tintas aos locais a serem socorridos para que crianças possam pintar livremente os seus sonhos. As telas são, posteriormente levadas à artistas renomados, que fazem uma pintura junto a pintura das crianças. Estas telas assinadas são expostas em locais públicos e posteriormente são vendidas. O total de 100% da renda é enviada às essas crianças. ARTE QUE SALVA (

Art That Saves) is a not for profit organization that focuses on helping children living in extreme poverty around the globe. Our organization depends on individuals with “kind hearts”, who travel to those impoverished areas where these children live, to put together a “painting day”. Pieces of canvas are distributed to the children, who then are encouraged to paint their dreams. Once completed by their loving hands, the artwork is shipped to the US. Once it arrives, each canvas is distributed to one of many local and international generous artists who have volunteered to help our project. From the template of the children’s simple creations, our fine artists are challenged to collaborate with their paintings transforming their pieces into a new work of art, trying not to erase what they have done. These beautiful works are then auctioned in the US and sometimes in Brazil, where 100% of the money collected goes back to the children, for the construction of schools, housing, sports centers, etc. This act of kindness is the ultimate gift that any artist can give, for it has changed the lives of countless numbers of children. The true power of art can literally move mountains! Imagine if you can, how simple pieces of canvas can effectively be transformed into the bricks and mortar of a school. What can be more rewarding than seeing a smile on our children’s faces?
