We're a transitional house with a new heart (Ez 36:26) for women going through a rough patch after losing their home from a crisis.

In 2005, God carved a vision in my heart. Now, The Phileo House is being built. Watch how this transformative faith- based home unfolds bringing God's love through spiritual and emotional equipping, and mentoring to our unsheltered families. A huge thank you to Isai for the insightful tour today! It was inspiring to see the trailers, tiny home, and mobile kitchen that SALT Outreach Inc. will soon use to provide vital shelter and support for our homeless community. We are grateful for your dedication to these life-changing initiatives.

Our hearts are heavy as we lift up the victims in Venezuela. We know the road to recovery will be long, but we believe in the power of our collective support. Today, I had the blessing, but the challenge, to accompany M., one of the homeless women we are supporting (and her young adult child in the spectrum), to an organization that manages a program that could have potentially housed her for several months. We were so eager and expectant about this potential opportunity. Sadly, they will have to sleep in her car without A/C once again. At this time, they did not qualify due to a lack of employment. JOIN THE PHILEO HOUSE AT THE EXPO HALL! We are bringing a table full of solutions, education, and fun to the Expo Hall at the OCPS Homeless Ed Summit this Thursday! We will be raising awareness of our current support programs and our vision for a future women's (and children's) transitional shelter in Orlando. Let's address and bring solutions to the state of student homelessness together. You can still purchase a ticket, but you must direct yourself to the OCPS website! Windermere High School 9-4 pm.
