Squirrel Circus brings fun, creativity, surprises, and opportunities for growth. There is no typical experience, but always a chance to try something new, surprise yourself, make some new friends, and gain a new way of experiencing life through the arts. Projects also include sustainable practices and raise questions about improving our lives through simplicity. Community-- organizations, business

es, individuals, and groups-- are welcome to propose topics and/or projects! Participants include artists, non-identified artists, anyone willing to be creative, and the Squirrel Circus team.

Being calm is creative too! We built a sheet fort, including artist Jeff Ferree's rainbow weaving as a skylight, and it was almost all recycled or re-purposed materials. Then we read nature stories to each other, enjoyed the trees and the rainbow, and pinned and rearranged word cards to make our own sentences for community stories.

Thanks, Kids Fringe, for a great experience this weekend! We loved building and painting our cardboard castle city with everyone! And Big Nazo, you guys rock! Thanks for leading the de-construction dances! Video and photos coming soon!
