Your story matters. Your culture matters. Your voice deserves to be seen and heard.

MYgration Films is seeking both community storytellers (subjects/co-creators) and filmmakers to collaborate on powerful 3–5 minute documentaries that celebrate the vibrant multicultural tapestry of Central Florida.

🎤 Are you a storyteller? (Co-creator)
What inspires you to keep your culture alive?
How do you honor your heritage while living in Central Florida/Orlando?

You’ll collaborate closely with a filmmaker to help shape and share your story with the world.

🎬 Are you a filmmaker?
Bring your creativity, your lens, and your passion for storytelling. You’ll be paired with a community co-creator to co-create a meaningful short film that captures identity, resilience, and culture.
Selected filmmakers will not only tell powerful stories, but also compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place honors, a chance to showcase your talent and be recognized!

FusionFest walked alongside the Orange County float and our incredible FusionFest community in a beautiful celebration of the achievements of our Puerto Rican community, in education, science, arts, sports, and beyond. 🇵🇷✨
We were all celebrating together in unity and joy.

FusionFest invites community members to participate in the Mygration Films 2026 program, an opportunity to turn real migration stories into powerful short documentary films.

We are seeking storytellers, from passionate beginners to experienced filmmakers to bring to life the story of a person from our community.

FusionFest will provide the subject… you bring the vision.

🎥 Selected participants will create a 3–5 minute documentary.

🌺 Grateful to have been part of NAWRUZ, the beautiful celebration of Spring 🌸✨

Thank you, Representative Dr. Anna Eskamani, the Orlando Museum of Art, and Fahim Hemani for the invitation to be part of such a meaningful and beautiful celebration, creating a space where culture, community, and renewal come together.

A special thank you to our Board Member and Ambassador for the Central Asia community, Kymbat Iglikova, for her support in making this possible. The performers, volunteers and all the attendees to this beautiful tradition.

Join us in celebrating the vibrant spirit of Nawruz and the arrival of spring at the heart of Orlando—a joyful gathering that honors themes of hope, renewal, and new beginnings shared across cultures.

Presented in collaboration between the Orlando Museum of Art, the Ismaili Council for Florida, FusionFest, the Bahá’í Faith community, Central Asian community leaders, the Turkish Cultural Center of Central Florida, the City of Orlando Office of Multicultural Affairs, and Representative Anna V. Eskamani, this spring festival brings together a rich tapestry of cultural traditions and community spirit.

Enjoy vibrant cultural dance and musical performances, savor delicious food catered by Ali Baba, and explore a variety of family-friendly activities that highlight traditions of springtime celebrations from around the world. Together, we will gather in a spirit of friendship and shared humanity to celebrate the beauty of diversity and the promise that comes with the changing of the season.

This event is free and open to all ages. While admission is free, we encourage guests to bring non-perishable food items as their contribution to support the work of United Against Poverty in helping the most vulnerable members of our community.

Come celebrate the season of renewal and make a difference together. 🌸
