Hi friends.
just a reminder this is happening tomorrow night. While the event has an intended audience of newly licensed architects, emerging professionals, and students, all are welcome. Please register at https://AIA Orlando/events/next-23-transporting-you-to-the-future

To clarify the location: the event will take place in the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Boardroom. Guests should enter the main terminal and go to the 3rd floor atrium area with the fountain. Situate yourself so Starbucks is on the left. Take the walkway in front of Starbucks and stay left until the walkway ends at glass doors. Someone will meet you there to let you in. (Again, please register!)

So much fun at the Milk District Charette presentation last night. Really great conversation, and it will be even more fun to see these ideas come to life.
Thanks to Atrium for hosting, to Kimley-Horn for sponsoring our snacks, Milk district Design committee for your collaboration, and Michael, Carrie, and Jennifer for all your hard behind the scenes prep work.
Also a special thank you to our judges.
Already making big plans for next year's event.

Last chance to sign up!
One of the main goals of the AIA is to advocate for the profession of architecture. But advocacy isn't free. Please join AIA Orlando in the bowling fundraiser for FAPAC. Even if you can't make the event please consider donating!

As the architectural profession and construction industry responds to the novel coronavirus, we all have questions.

05/22/2023

Join us this Thursday to hang out and network with your fellow young architects and emerging professionals. We'll also have WIA folks there. All are welcome even if you've been licensed more than 10 years.

Excited for this event tonight.

The amazing Michael Richardson is going to be dropping some knowledge on lots of the questions about architecture: why does it matter if I get a license, how does what a building is made of relate to what goes inside it, what other careers can you pursue with an arch degree and or license, how do I prepare for an interview at a firm.
Thank you to the academic alliance council for organizing and making this happen.

Don't miss this discussion! This week!
