A great day of golf for an even greater cause!

Here's a look back at our 5th Annual Athletes for Artists Golf Tournament, held September 28 at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the course, volunteered, sponsored and helped make this year's tournament possible.

Athletes for Artists is about more than a day of golf. The funds raised support United Arts' Individual Artist Awards, helping Central Florida artists pursue new projects, build their careers and keep creating.

Over the past five years, this tournament has raised more than $500,000 to support local artists!

What could Amendment 3 mean for arts and culture in Central Florida?

Florida voters will consider Amendment 3 on November 3, 2026. The proposed constitutional amendment would change property tax exemptions and how local governments collect and use property tax revenue.

These changes could have implications beyond property owners.

Local government General Funds help support public services and community investments, including arts and culture programs. If Amendment 3 reduces local government revenue, counties and cities may need to make future budget decisions that affect these investments.

At United Arts, we recognize how important public funding is to the artists, cultural organizations and community programs that serve Central Florida.

That's why we've created an Amendment 3 Information Center with information about the proposal, potential funding impacts and resources from local governments and other organizations.

We're not telling voters how to vote. We're providing information to help our community better understand what's on the ballot.

Sometimes the biggest impact comes in the smallest envelopes.

Pam from Orlando Family Stage stopped by with a special delivery: thank-you cards from children who experienced live theater through the No Empty Seat program.

During the past year, No Empty Seat helped 7,100 children experience the magic of live theater. For many young people, opportunities like these open the door to new stories, new perspectives and a lifelong connection to the arts.

These handwritten notes are a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. Behind every number is a child who had the chance to experience something special.

Thank you to Orlando Family Stage for sharing these messages with us and for helping bring the arts to more children across our community. 💙

Orange County Public Art is seeking artists and artist teams to create artwork for the newly renovated Tangelo Park Community Center in Orlando.

Located in the historic Tangelo Park community, the center is designed to bring neighbors of all ages together through recreation, education, cultural activities and community events.

This is an opportunity to create artwork that celebrates community, connection and the rich history of Tangelo Park.

Help us welcome Olivia Mulford to the United Arts team!

Olivia joins us as our new Development Associate, bringing experience in fundraising, donor engagement, communications and the arts.

An Orlando native and UCF graduate, Olivia has worked with several arts and nonprofit organizations across Central Florida, including Central Florida Community Arts, Snap! Orlando, the Orlando Museum of Art and the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens.

Outside of work, you'll find her painting, drawing, writing, visiting museums or exploring Orlando!

We're excited to have Olivia on the team and look forward to the creativity, experience and passion for the arts she brings to United Arts.

Join United Arts for our October Open Office Hours to get an introduction to the Community Impact Grant and learn more about the upcoming cycle.

Community Impact Grants provide competitive $5,000 funding to support meaningful cross-sector collaborations between arts-based and non-arts-based organizations that create positive impact in the communities they serve.
