This Pride Month, we’re celebrating the artists, storytellers and cultural organizations creating space for LGBTQ+ voices across Central Florida.

We’re proud to spotlight organizations whose work uplifts q***r stories, builds belonging and reminds us that art is one of the most powerful ways we see, honor and understand one another:

🌈 Orlando Gay Chorus
🌈 Renaissance Theatre Company
🌈 Descolonizarte

We’re also grateful for the many United Arts partners and community organizations who create q***r-centered programming, inclusive spaces and opportunities for LGBTQ+ artists and audiences throughout the year.

Art belongs to all of us.
And Central Florida is stronger, brighter and more alive when every voice has room to be heard.

Happy Pride Month. 🖤🌈

What an inspiring evening celebrating the people who make art possible across Central Florida.

At United Arts’ Annual Celebration, we gathered with artists, cultural organizations, donors, board members, elected officials, partners, and community advocates to reflect on a year of momentum and look ahead to what’s possible when we invest in arts, science, history, and culture.

This work is about more than events and performances. It is about strengthening the creative ecosystem that supports artists, connects communities, fuels learning, builds belonging, and helps our region thrive.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to every person who continues to support a more vibrant, creative, and connected Central Florida.

Today, we remember the 49 lives taken at Pulse on June 12, 2016.

We hold close the survivors, families, friends and LGBTQ+ community forever changed by this tragedy.

In the years since, Orlando has carried their memory forward through unity, compassion, creativity and care. Today, we honor their lives and recommit to building a community where everyone belongs.

With love, we remember.

All donors can help create big, visible change.

Through United Arts’ Community Vibrancy Program, donor support is helping bring a new public mural to East End Market in the Audubon Park Garden District — turning an everyday neighborhood space into a place for art, connection, and community pride.

This project was made possible through the generosity of Zac and Becca Wolf, whose story reminds us that building the community we want to live in takes all of us.

Now, we’re looking for a local artist to help bring this mural to life.

Call for Artists: Public Mural Commission
📍 East End Market, 3201 Corrine Drive, Orlando
🎨 Theme: Florida birds, with a preference for endangered Florida birds
💰 Budget: $8,000
📅 Deadline: July 17, 2026 at 5 p.m.
✅ Open to professional visual artists in Lake, Orange, Osceola, or Seminole counties

Apply through the United Arts Grants Portal.

Because when donors, artists, neighborhoods, and partners come together, art becomes part of the place we call home.
