Eid Orlando Eid Orlando is a non-profit organization dedicated to uniting the Central Orlando Muslim community for Eid.

For Eid-ul-Adha in 2016, a group of community members in Central Florida decided to unite with like-minded individuals and local organizations for an Eid celebration that was family-friendly and brought people from all walks of life together at the Orange County Convention Center.

​The small group of dedicated volunteers mobilized to raise over $25,000 and coordinate a memorable event for more th

an 2000 people in a few short weeks. Not only was it in a large indoor venue, there were games and activities for the kids that made it extra special. Eid Orlando is committed to reaching out to all segments of the Central Florida Muslim community to hold united, inclusive, and festive Eid prayer events that meet the needs of the growing population.

​The date of the Eid celebrations is based upon the criteria/calendar of the Fiqh Council of North America.

Ramadan Mubarak from Eid Orlando! We pray that this Ramadan brings with it days full of worship, community, and care.

The convention center was not available, and we tried all year to find a space that could accommodate us. Unfortunately we could not find anything that fits the needs of our growing community so we will miss celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr with you this year.

Allah, The Most Wise, is the BEST of Planners, and perhaps at troubling times like this, we were meant to gather differently.

Don’t worry, we already have plans for next year and insha’Allah will resume bringing smiles and joy to your families in 2027.

In the meantime, we have some ideas for how to make this Eid extra special, so stay tuned!

As we begin the month of Dhul-Hijjah we are keeping those who are beginning their Hajj journeys in our duas. May Allah The All-Powerful remove every obstacle from their path. May their pilgrimage, worship and sacrifices be accepted and their duas be granted. May our duas be joined with those of the Hajjis on these blessed days, bringing freedom and safety to our sisters and brothers in Palestine and Sudan and all who are suffering in our Ummah 🤲🏽

As a reminder, Eid Orlando will not be hosting an event for Eid al-Adha. We loved being able to gather together in community and solidarity with you all on Eid ul-Fitr and will miss being with you next week. However, please stay tuned for information regarding future Eid Orlando events. We look forward to celebrating together again and hope that you are able to spend Eid surrounded with those you love ✨
