💛 Every child deserves a strong start, and every parent deserves to feel confident in their role as their child’s first teacher.

AnnMarie Alvarado is creating a new social solution for children and families through Bee Creative Playgroups, welcoming spaces where families can play, laugh, learn, and grow together.

Her project is designed to strengthen caregiver engagement in a child’s education by using play-based learning and creative exploration to build family connections, spark joy, and support emotional well-being.

✨ CRAVE Alumni Spotlight: Lo-Ammi Richardson ✨

Lo-Ammi Richardson knows firsthand the challenges many young people face. Between the ages of 15 and 25, he struggled with fighting, skipping school, and selling drugs, leading to multiple juvenile arrests and missed opportunities.

A Youth Conference in Kentucky became a turning point, helping Lo-Ammi discover a new sense of identity and purpose. Today, he travels nationally and internationally as a motivational speaker, inspiring students to overcome adversity, pursue their education, and find their calling.

A first-generation college graduate of Oakwood University, Lo-Ammi has transformed his past experiences into a powerful message of hope through his speaking and his book, I Am Is Greater Than I Was: From Identity Lost to Purpose Found.

We are proud to celebrate Lo-Ammi as part of our CRAVE alumni community and the impact he continues to make. 💚
