Today in collaboration with Orange County Health Services, we kick of our new initiative increasing access to critical medical and addiction recovery resources in east Orange County. The BAT mobile will be at Transformation Village at 11am providing no cost HIV and Hepatitis C testing, mental health counseling and addiction recovery services to the community.

The rate of veteran su***de reflects thousands of lives lost each year, and such premature deaths continue to warrant attention. STEPS has joined the Fire Watch program. A community initiative in Florida aimed at preventing veteran su***de through proactive outreach and support. We now join a network of trained Watch Standers who can identify warning signs and connect veterans to the resources they need.

Our Living Room is now open!
In The Living Room, we will provide you a safe and supportive alternative to emergency rooms. Our peer recovery support specialists will welcome you. These specialists have had personal experiences with mental health and substance use issues. They also have training that helps them provide you crisis intervention, recovery support and community resources.
The Living Room facilitates connections to ongoing mental health services, substance use treatment, and other community resources based on individual needs.
The Living Room is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, 24/7.
