I've spent over half of my life exploring the human mind and how it relates to the human experience.  We tend to think of ourselves as a fairly complex creature, but there are basic foundational concepts that would illustrate otherwise.  I believe there are some basic shifts In how we approach human cultivation that would alter the general trend away from the (d)evolution this article states as we take on homo-Idioticus (sorry I had to giggle when I first read that).
12 years ago when my friend Karim and I sat down to talk about the world and how we could make an impact, his dad had recently died of Alzheimer's, and his concept was to address the approach to solving human deficiency through redefining how we approach human well-being.
My version, if One truly hopes have an impact on our species we must look towards the offspring in the young humans that orchestrate the impact. My literal tagline was to "cultivate wisdom in children."
Well, the tide of activity focused more on the wellness approach, and although we created some magnificent things together, we were never actually able to get it to support itself due to the very outside the box nature of the various modalities we came up with. So, due to the lack of resource and revenue. I've had to step away from that project, but my version still lingered in my mind..
Then one day as I sat in Meditation, an intuitive thought came up that gave one option for being able to begin the process of cultivating wisdom and children. If you think about it, a large portion of the lives of our children is spent in the pursuit of education.  education, has become a pathway of forced learning in the Almighty pursuit of becoming a "problem solver"!  yet the processes they follow, and the expectation set forth are completely incongruent with how human beings truly build an optimal neurological system to be used to enhance the human experience. In fact, a large portion of the process elicit to autonomic response deeply embedded into the subconscious of most human beings. Most don't recognize this because it's what we're used to. Yet it has dumbed us down, as most human beings get lost nowadays In their devices in some form or manner as a means to escape, or to seek comfort and convenience.
I Have come up with at least one observation and simple transition that could have a true foundational Impact on this general path towards Idiocracy and truly kead toward a cultivation of wisdom. Stay tuned as I discuss this In another post .
