Orlando United Orlando United is a page created to bring the community together by sharing important news and inform We don't want this movement to stop.

We are standing up to anyone who promotes hate and intolerance by coming together as a community to show that love and compassion wins. Hate and intolerance have no place here in Orlando and this past week was evident of that. We are working hard to fight against what happened to our beautiful city in a positive and peaceful way. This past week alone, we have reached over 3,000 people and together

we organized memorial support for the victims. We have a plethora of people and businesses in our community who have joined our movement. We have volunteers doing everything from donating water and making signs, to those who are creating a website so that we can expand our reach, and others who are helping us work towards becoming an official nonprofit organization. It’s amazing how many people have become involved; our momentum and outreach is continuing to grow. We want to continue getting involved with the community by helping everyone stay connected, and giving them the opportunity to spread peace and teach tolerance. We need to encourage more

As many of you know, I moved to Richmond last year. I’m happy to share that the LGBTQIA+ community up here does not disappoint. TransJam RVA regularly hosts a Big Gay Pride market, and this month they have lovingly chalked the walk for their event in honor of Pulse’s crosswalk. We feel the love. Nine years ago, my baby was by my side as fellow yogis and friends made protest signs to fight against hate. He is 9 years old today, and the fight continues. The 49 souls we lost will never be forgotten; their memories will live on through our unwavering voices. As our country continues to fight hate in all forms, we will let them know that we will not be silenced. Not then, not now. Keep on dancing, Orlando. Stay loud. 🌈✨
