With 602 known homeless youth in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties in 2019, the need for a safe place to receive mentorship is indisputable. Faine House staff and volunteers offer guided support on education and occupational opportunities, safe housing, food, transportation, financial literacy, and healthy, sustainable living. In the first decade of services, dozens of Central Florida young a
dults have opened their first bank account, earned a driver’s license, become employed, attended technical school, or gained a college degree. The Faine House is now widely recognized as a leader in Central Florida’s network of organizations seeking to end homelessness for young adults. Founded in conjunction with the Children's Home Society of Florida, The Faine House now operates as an independent 501c3.
