During this school break in Colombia, our young players from the 2016 and 2017 age groups enjoyed unforgettable days filled with soccer, laughter, learning, and family unity. We are so happy to see them return home with wonderful achievements: 🥉 3rd place in the Silver Cup and 4th place in the Gold Cup! 🏆

Today, we celebrate their goals, their victories, and the winning streak they have been enjoying. But we also celebrate every effort, every lesson learned, and every step they take in their personal growth. We know that winning isn’t everything, but every experience has something valuable to teach them. 💪🏽✨

Durante esta semana de receso escolar en Colombia, nuestros niños de las categorías 2016 y 2017 han disfrutado de días inolvidables, llenos de fútbol, risas, aprendizajes y unión familiar. Y qué alegría verlos regresar con grandes logros: 🥉 3.er lugar en Copa Plata y 4.º lugar en Copa Oro. 🏆

Hoy celebramos sus goles, sus triunfos y esa buena racha que los ha acompañado, pero también celebramos cada esfuerzo, cada aprendizaje y cada paso que dan en su formación. Porque sabemos que no siempre se gana, pero cada experiencia tiene algo valioso que enseñarles. 💪🏽✨

🌟💙 WE’RE BACK IN TIERRA BOMBA! 🎬⚽️

We’re starting a new month with so much excitement, and with it, we’re returning to our work in Tierra Bomba. After a short pause, today we take another step toward sharing once again with our children those special evenings we love so much: movie nights! 🍿🎬✨

A heartfelt thank you to our godmothers, Noemí and Paty, who made it possible to cover the snacks for the months of October and November in advance, allowing us to resume these gatherings and continue creating spaces of joy, connection, and learning for the children in the community. 💙

And the joy continued with Argentinos Sport from Barranquilla, who joined this mission by donating soccer uniforms for the children. ⚽️💙 These uniforms will be given to them during an upcoming gathering by the group leader.

To every person who contributes, donates, believes, and puts on the apron to serve… THANK YOU! 🙏🏼✨

We know the children will be so happy to enjoy their movie nights again, share a snack, and experience once more those special moments that leave lasting memories in their hearts. 🥹💙

🌟💙 ¡VOLVEMOS A TIERRA BOMBA! 🎬⚽️

Iniciamos un nuevo mes con mucha ilusión y, con él, retomamos nuestro trabajo en Tierra Bomba. Después de una pausa, hoy damos un paso más para volver a compartir con nuestros niños esas noches que tanto nos emocionan: ¡las noches de cine! 🍿🎬✨

Gracias a nuestras madrinas Noemí y Paty, quienes hicieron posible cubrir por adelantado las meriendas de los meses de octubre y noviembre, permitiéndonos retomar estas jornadas y continuar creando espacios de alegría, encuentro y aprendizaje para los niños de la comunidad. 💙

Y la alegría llegó también de la mano de Argentinos Sport, de Barranquilla, quienes se unieron a esta misión con la donación de uniformes de fútbol para los niños ⚽️💙. Estos serán entregados en una próxima jornada por la dirigente del grupo.

A cada persona que suma, que dona, que cree y que se pone el delantal para servir… ¡GRACIAS! 🙏🏼✨

⚽️💙 EVERY CHILD, EVERY YOUNG PERSON, EVERY STORY COUNTS.

Today, we want to look back and remember some of the moments we’ve been blessed to share with this school we love so much. Moments of hard work, discipline, learning, victories, and also those challenges that ultimately help shape character.

Through sports, these children and young people have not only found a place to develop their talents and reach a higher level of performance; they have also learned that behind every achievement are perseverance, teamwork, respect, faith, and values that go far beyond the scoreboard. 🙏🏼⚽️

We have celebrated their victories, supported their journeys, and learned alongside them that growing also means getting back up, keeping on trying, and believing that it is possible.

And how beautiful it has been to have people who choose to step forward and make this journey even more meaningful. 💙

Hoy queremos mirar atrás y recordar algunos de los momentos que hemos podido compartir junto a esta escuela que tanto amamos. Momentos de esfuerzo, disciplina, aprendizajes, triunfos y también de esos retos que terminan formando el carácter.

A través del deporte, estos niños y jóvenes no solo han encontrado un espacio para desarrollar sus talentos y alcanzar un mejor nivel de rendimiento; también han aprendido que cada logro lleva detrás constancia, compañerismo, respeto, fe y valores que trascienden cualquier marcador. 🙏🏼⚽️

Hemos celebrado sus triunfos, acompañado sus procesos y aprendido con ellos que crecer también significa levantarse, seguir intentando y creer que sí es posible.

Y qué bonito ha sido contar con personas que deciden sumarse y hacer que este camino tenga aún más sentido. 💙

Hoy es un día muy especial y queremos celebrar la vida de un ser extraordinario! 💖🙌

Queremos tomar este espacio para honrar y dar gracias por nuestra querida fundadora, Flor. Una mujer cuyo corazón no conoce límites y cuya vida misma es el testimonio vivo de que los milagros existen.

Flor Tovar es inspiración, es motivación pura y, sobre todo, es un canal del amor de Dios en la tierra. Quienes tenemos la dicha de conocerla sabemos que su mayor anhelo siempre es ayudar, levantar al caído y compartir con el mundo ese mensaje inquebrantable de fe, recordando a cada paso lo bueno, fiel y misericordioso que ha sido Dios en su vida.

💙 WHEN A HEART SAYS YES, HELP REACHES FARTHER. 🇨🇴🤍

A few weeks ago, Colombia experienced difficult moments following the earthquake. Through some friends, we received images and videos of affected families—people who needed medication, a place to sleep, and, above all, to feel that they were not alone.

And once again, God allowed us to be part of the answer. 🙏🏼

From the United States, several friends and supporters chose to open their hearts and contribute to bringing assistance to those who needed it most. Through their generosity, the vision of The Flor Foundation, and the people who were willing to serve, we were able to turn those contributions into real help. 🤲🏼✨

We also want to recognize someone who, from Colombia, made space in the middle of their daily life, work, and personal responsibilities to receive, organize, and deliver these donations to different families. Thank you for giving your time, your willingness, and your heart. ❤️

Because a mission like this is never accomplished by just one person.

We do it together with everyone who says, “I want to help too.”

💙 CUANDO UN CORAZÓN DICE SÍ, LA AYUDA LLEGA MÁS LEJOS. 🇨🇴🤍

Hace unas semanas, Colombia vivió momentos difíciles a raíz del terremoto. A través de algunos amigos nos llegaron imágenes y videos de familias afectadas, personas que necesitaban medicamentos, un lugar donde dormir y, sobre todo, sentir que no estaban solas.

Y una vez más, Dios nos permitió ser parte de la respuesta. 🙏🏼

Desde Estados Unidos, varios amigos y conocidos decidieron poner la mano en el corazón y aportar para hacer llegar ayudas a quienes más lo necesitaban. Y gracias a esa generosidad, a la visión de The Flor Foundation y a las personas que estuvieron dispuestas a servir, pudimos convertir esos aportes en ayuda real. 🤲🏼✨

También queremos reconocer a quien, desde Colombia, abrió un espacio en medio de su día a día, de su trabajo y de sus propias responsabilidades para recibir, organizar y hacer llegar estas ayudas a diferentes familias. Gracias por entregar tiempo, disposición y corazón. ❤️

💙🎬 WE’RE COMING BACK TO TIERRA BOMBA 🎬💙

A few years ago, through The Flor Foundation, we were blessed with the opportunity to bring a video projector to a community of children in Tierra Bomba, near Cartagena, with the dream of creating a special space for connection, learning, and recreation. 🇨🇴✨

With it, we shared movies, lessons, laughter, and, of course, a delicious snack. 🍿🥤 Because sometimes, something that may seem simple to many can become a memory that a child carries with them for a lifetime.

For different reasons, we had to pause these activities, but today we want to share something that fills our hearts with joy: we are working to bring them back! 🥹❤️

These children have let us know that they miss those special moments. And we want to give them that space again—a place where, even for a few hours, they can step away from their daily routine, spend time with other children, and enjoy something as special as having their very own “movie theater” right in their community.

🎬 They already have the projector.
🪑 They already have the chairs.
❤️ And they already have the excitement and the hope.

Now, we want to make sure we can provide a weekly snack at each gathering, so this project can continue and the investment and beautiful work built with so much love does not go to waste.

Today, we are deeply grateful for those first angels who have already said YES and are joining us to help make this possible. 🙏🏼✨ And we continue believing that more caring hearts will come forward to be part of this mission.

Hace algunos años, desde The Flor Foundation, tuvimos la bendición de llevar a una comunidad de niños en Tierra Bomba, cerca de Cartagena, un video proyector con el sueño de crear un pequeño espacio de encuentro, aprendizaje y recreación. 🇨🇴✨

Con él compartíamos películas, enseñanzas, risas y, por supuesto, una rica merienda. 🍿🥤 Porque a veces, algo que para muchos parece sencillo, para un niño puede convertirse en un recuerdo que guarda para toda la vida.

Por diferentes circunstancias tuvimos que pausar estas actividades, pero hoy queremos contarles algo que nos llena el corazón: ¡estamos trabajando para retomarlas! 🥹❤️

Estos niños nos han hecho saber que extrañan esos momentos. Y queremos volver a regalarles ese espacio donde puedan salir por unas horas de su rutina, compartir con otros niños y disfrutar de algo tan especial como tener su propio “cine” en la comunidad.

💙 CUMARAL, META — A DAY OF SHARING AND SERVING 💙

Some days become memories we carry in our hearts for a lifetime… and this was one of them. 🥹✨

Through The Flor Foundation, we were blessed with the opportunity to share with the children and families of Cumaral, Meta, in a beautiful day filled with love, joy, and solidarity.

🍬 Share treats with all the children.
📚 Recognize three outstanding students with tablets.
🧸 Give toys to the children.
👟 Provide shoes and clothing to families.

💙 GOD’S MIRACLES FOLLOW US 💙

Today we want to share a testimony that fills our hearts with gratitude. 🙏🏽✨

While I was on my way to get my hair done, I saw a sign that said “Garage Sale.” I thought, “I don’t have any cash, but I’m going to stop and take a look.” And when I got there… I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! 😭🙌🏽

We found practically new tents, sleeping bags, camping supplies, and many survival items that are exactly what we need to continue helping our brothers and sisters in Colombia. 🇨🇴💙

What was even more amazing was that the woman accepted credit cards, so I was able to purchase everything I could. God truly puts things in our path at exactly the right moment! 🙏🏽

And this is also for all of you who have trusted us and donated to The Flor Foundation. 💙

We want you to know that every contribution is being used with love and purpose, always looking for ways to make it go even further. When opportunities like this come our way, we can purchase so much more with the same amount of money and bring more help to those who need it most.

We are so happy and grateful because we know that when God places a mission in our hearts, He also opens the doors and provides the way to fulfill it. ✨

Hoy queremos compartirles un testimonio que nos llena el corazón de gratitud. 🙏🏽✨

Mientras iba de camino a hacerme el pelo, vi un letrero que decía “Garage Sale”. Pensé: “No tengo efectivo, pero voy a parar a mirar”. Y cuando llegué… ¡no podía creer lo que estaba viendo! 😭🙌🏽

Encontramos prácticamente nuevas carpas, sleeping bags, artículos de camping y muchas cosas de supervivencia que son justamente parte de lo que necesitamos para seguir ayudando a nuestros hermanos en Colombia. 🇨🇴💙

Lo más increíble es que la señora aceptaba tarjeta, así que pude comprar todo lo que estaba a nuestro alcance. ¡Dios realmente pone las cosas en nuestro camino en el momento perfecto! 🙏🏽

💙 PEREIRA NEEDS US 💙

Today, Colombia needs us once again. After the earthquake that affected so many families in Pereira, many people have lost everything and today do not even have a mattress or sleeping mat to sleep on.

At The Flor Foundation, we want to come together to help. 🙏🏽🇨🇴

We are working directly with Eli, the niece of a very dear friend, who is currently in the area and will be responsible for receiving and coordinating all the assistance. She will be our eyes and hands in Pereira, documenting what we are able to collect and accompanying the distribution to the families who need it most.

We are accepting financial donations, which will be used primarily to purchase mattresses, sleeping mats, and basic necessities for those who have been left with nothing.

We will also be collecting useful items over the next two weeks, such as air mattresses, sleeping bags, blankets, and other essential supplies. We understand that shipping these items directly to Colombia may take more time, but anyone who would like to donate these items is more than welcome to do so. 💙

Every contribution matters. 🙏🏽

Pereira needs us, and together we can bring a little relief, hope, and comfort to those who are going through this difficult time.

Hoy Colombia nos necesita una vez más. Después del terremoto que afectó a tantas familias en Pereira, muchas personas lo perdieron todo y hoy no tienen siquiera una colchoneta donde dormir.

Desde The Flor Foundation queremos unirnos para ayudar. 🙏🏽🇨🇴

Estamos trabajando directamente con Eli, sobrina de una muy buena amiga, quien se encuentra en la zona y estará encargada de recibir y canalizar toda la ayuda. Ella será nuestros ojos y manos en Pereira, mostrando lo que logremos conseguir y acompañando la entrega a las familias que más lo necesitan.

Estamos recibiendo donaciones económicas, que serán destinadas principalmente a la compra de colchones, colchonetas y elementos básicos para quienes quedaron sin nada.

También estaremos recolectando durante las próximas dos semanas artículos que puedan ser útiles, como colchones inflables, sleeping bags, cobijas y otros elementos de primera necesidad. Sabemos que enviar estos artículos directamente a Colombia puede tomar más tiempo, pero quienes deseen donarlos también serán bien recibidos. 💙
