April 14, 2012 ~ Keep Brevard Beautiful ~ Volunteers picked up 7 bags full of trash from Pelican Beach. March 10, 2012 ~ Coalition for the Homeless ~ 7 volunteers spent the day babysitting
so the women living at the shelter could attend a financial seminar. Volunteers played games, colored, and dyed eggs with the children. February 2012 ~ Visited Keystone Rehab and threw a Mardi Gras themed social. The workers were treated to "Hometown Hero" Valentine treats as part of our month long "Valentines for Hometown Heroes" that individuals were encouraged to participate in. January 21, 2012 ~ Special Olympics Polar Plunge at Aquatica. $572 raised. December 16, 2011 ~ Christmas at Ronald McDonald House on the campus of FL Hospital. Collected and delivered lots of household items (about 1.5 car loads) from their wishlist and helped John Pealer realize his dream of giving back. October 25-28, 2011 ~ Groupon G-Team Campaign to benefit SPCA of Central Florida's Pet Food Xpress Program for seniors ~ Raised over $330! October 16, 2011 ~ Keystone Rehab, Kissimmee, FL ~ Fall fun, games, and cookies with residents. August 2011 ~ Adopt-a-Student School Supply Drive for Palmetto Elementary ~ Collected over 5,000 items! July 23, 2011 ~ Guys With Ties White Party to benefit Page 15 ~ Eight members raised about $200. June 12, 2011 ~ Special Olympics Seminole County ~ Third Highest Earning Team in Bowl-A-Thon Event with $220 and 11 participants. June 5, 2011 ~ Keep Brevard Beautiful ~ 4 volunteers cleaned up over 30 pounds of trash from the Spessard Holland North Beach Park in Melbourne Beach, FL. April 2011 ~ March for Babies, Lake Eola, Downtown Orlando ~ Our team raised $1,415 for the March of Dimes. March 2011 ~ Collection of Incentive Items for Pace Center for Girls, Inc. ~ We collected a total of 450 items. Breakdown as follows: 25 books/cd/artwork, 16 accessories/clothing, 36 jewelry items, 23 picture frames/albums, 11 shoes/slippers, 17 knick knacks, 19 hair accessories, 7 stuffed animals/pillows, 27 purses/bags, 205 bath and body items. February 2011 ~ Keystone Rehab, Kissimmee, FL ~ We brought 13 pies that were donated from Wolfgang Puck's, Portobello Italian Restaurant, and Fultons Crab House to serve to the residents. Members also made goody bags and handmade Valentines to brighten the day of the residents of Keystone. January 2011 ~ Special Olympics ~ Polar Plunge at Aquatica. 9 Members raised $1000 in two weeks time!
