Mea is a very special girl looking for a family deserving of her love. This 6 year old beauty has spectacular blue eyes and a personality to match. Mea walks well on a leash, rides very well in a car and is good with kids and other dogs. She has not been cat-tested. She can be a bit shy and wary of strangers in her home but warms up quickly. Mea’s owner needs to re-home her because of his own health issues and it’s too unfair for her to be alone so much. Also, Mea has some bladder leakage if left alone for a full workday. She would be a great dog for someone working from home or is there most of the day. She has been tested and prescribed Proin, which makes her nauseous. Several other tests were run and meds tried but so far no success. A specialist may need to be consulted to resolve this issue but having someone in the home all day is all she needs. She does go to the door when she needs to go outside. A physically fenced yard would be best for her own safety. Electronic fencing will not be considered.

Everyone needs a little Wynter in this summer heat…

Meet Wynter ❄️😁

Wynter came to us from Georgia after being found at a job site, and she has blossomed into a loyal, affectionate, and incredibly smart young dog who just wants to be part of everything you’re doing.

She is the definition of a “velcro dog” — she’ll follow you from room to room, lean into you for cuddles, and happily curl up close (or right on top of you) at night. 🥹

Wynter LOVES to play. Zooming around the yard with dog friends, squeaky toys, hikes, and anything active makes her happiest. Other dogs in the home will need to be playful as well or at least very tolerant of a young and energetic dog.

Wynter has also been working with a professional trainer who calls her “wicked smart”. She genuinely enjoys learning and picks up new skills quickly. She already knows several commands, walks well on a loose leash, and thrives when her mind is kept busy just as much as her body.

Wynter is house trained, crate trained, rides great in the car, and does well with baths. She’s also cat friendly.

Wynter would do best in an active home with a fenced yard. She needs someone who is excited to continue her training and give her daily exercise and mental stimulation. She is not a “low energy alone for long hours” type of dog — she thrives on engagement and connection.
