Run!

Hi! I’m Maggie, and I’m looking for my forever family!

I’m a 10-month-old, 20-pound Australian Shepherd mix with a BIG heart and plenty of puppy energy! I love snuggling with my foster fur siblings and human sibling, and I’m pretty sure everyone I meet is my new best friend.

I love dogs, cats, kids, toys, balls, tug-of-war, car rides, walks and even… THE RAIN! I’m house-trained, walk great on a leash, sleep through the night and love curling up with my people and animal friends.

I’m playful, affectionate and SMART. Like, really smart. That means I need humans who will keep my brain busy with treat puzzles, scent games, trick training and fun activities. I’m not looking for a home where I’m expected to lie around all day while everyone works. I want to be part of the action!

A playful doggy sibling would be wonderful, but it’s not required if my humans are ready to give me plenty of exercise, attention and mental stimulation. A yard would be great, too!

My rescue friends would especially love to find someone with herding-breed experience. I’m great with kids, but because I have strong herding instincts, older children may be the better fit.

I’m ready to trade my puppy days for forever days. Could that be with you?

We had quite a few people that were interested in moji. Unfortunately we didn't have the detailed information that we needed, and then her family had to leave on a medical emergency so moji was boarded for several days. While there she interacted splendidly with the staff and showed everyone that she had good manners. However, while at home, moji has been showing signs of aggression when meeting strangers. We have many Clues as to why this is happening, but until she is removed from her current situation and provided with a rich environment with plenty of things to do and new things to smell, I think moji is simply stuck.

Moji need someone with the right experience to turn a dog around. Because she is only 2 years old I think we can create many opportunities for her to gain self-esteem.
