The McDowell Ministries of Florida

The McDowell Ministries of Florida McDowell Ministries is a non-profit organization founded by the late Shorty McDowell to help the people of East Orange County.

Shorty's dream was open a thrift store so he could provide clothing, shoes, and household items at a low cost. In honor of his memory the family opened the thrift store in May 2010 where all clothes and shoes are $1.00.
