When Libby’s Legacy diagnoses someone in their 30s, it’s always especially difficult. While we are always hopeful, we know that younger diagnoses often mean a more aggressive form of cancer.

Crystal is a country girl at heart—a sweet soul with an unwaveringly positive spirit. Determined to pursue the most natural path possible, we traveled to Reno, Nevada for alternative treatment. For a time, Crystal felt great, but the cancer persisted. Through it all, she never lost hope. She has been courageously fighting for eight years.
And in the midst of that fight, something beautiful happened.

Crystal fell in love.

Andrew came into her life and never once stepped back because of her diagnosis. Instead, he stepped closer—becoming her partner, her best friend, and her constant through every high and low. He has stood by her side through it all.

Yesterday, they were married.❤️

Our hearts are so full for Crystal and Andrew. Moments like this—love, resilience, and joy in the face of adversity—are exactly why we do what we do at Libby’s Legacy.
