One of our first goals for with Wilcher Foundation for #2026 is raising $1000 to go towards one of our youth on Guana to get to see a cardiologist here in the states. The appointment is set for the end of January. We pray for God to move in all areas of this, with the doctor we will be seeing and what follows. 🔔An opportunity to give has arrived.🔔

The goal to be raised is $1000.

The cause:
We have a teen on Great Guana Cay, the little island we do youth summer camp on that has been having some heart issues for several years.

He attempted to seek care in the Bahamas only to have to pay an extreme amount with no resolve and the doctor will not return any contact to them for follow up. Keep in mind there is no cardiac doctor on the island they live on and no hospital on the main island closest do them.

We are blessed that this teen already has their US Travel Visa!
We want to raise funds to cover his airfare ($350), initial visit with a cardiologist ($70-$216), EKG ($15), an echocardiogram ($93-$234), and a little left over for follow up or food.

The teen will be staying in our home and we will be transporting them to the doctor to help with cost.

This teen in the recent 6 months has started having more cardiac flare ups and this is why we feel called to help and hopefully get him some quality care and peace of mind.

We are not sure what his treatment will be and know God is in the details. It is our job to be obedient when God places something on our hearts.

If you were to tell us 5 1/2 years ago that we would have 6 kids from Great Guana Cay travel back to the states with us, stay at our home, attend along side the youth at .church and do life together we would not have been able to imagine something so wonderful. A BIG special thank you to these kids parents for allowing them to travel with us! We have so much gratitude for all God is working in each of these young peoples life! We love these kids deeply and are in awe of how we have got to witness their faith grow. Next year could bring some challenges we are not yet aware of but one thing we know we need to be praying for is the visa restrictions that will prevent them from traveling to the US and through US to get to other countries to serve. Please pray along side us for glimpses of God's vision for their future and how we can support them in that. Amen!!! Excited to see God move. Remember YOU are called to be ambassadors for His Kingdom!! LETS GO!!!
