Serving love and hope, one meal at a time! 🍲💙 We recently spent an incredibly rewarding afternoon volunteering at the Coalition for the Homeless. A dedicated group of seven of us stepped right into the kitchen, actively preparing and serving lunch to the guests there.

We were deeply moved by the heartfelt appreciation expressed by the staff, fellow volunteers, and especially the individuals we served. In our community, creating happy, healthy, purposeful living means reaching beyond our campus to bring light to many lives. We filled our hearts with so much warmth and already look forward to returning in the near future!

What an unforgettable premiere! 🎬✨ We were absolutely thrilled to celebrate the local premiere of From Shore to Shore: A Living Legacies Project and honor one of its incredible stars, resident Sallie Amato.

Sallie’s vibrant spirit, remarkable story, and dedicated World War II service took center stage on the big screen, reminding all of us what it means to live with purpose and joy. We were moved to have members of the local Marine Corps League join us to honor her for her contributions.

Bringing these powerful narratives to life on screen was a wonderful collaborative effort, and we want to share a special thank you to the talented team at the production company, Talegate4Joy, for capturing Sallie's story so beautifully, and to Westminster Communities Foundation and their generous support, allowing us to preserve these incredible stories.

Thank you everyone who joined us to celebrate Sallie, her legacy of service, and the history and vibrant lifestyles that enrich the community every day.

We had an absolute blast participating in our Hand Exercise Class this week. We focused on a wonderful mix of stretches, squeezes, and strengthening exercises specifically designed to improve coordination and reduce daily stiffness. Learning these simple, effective movements ensures we can confidently enjoy all of our favorite everyday activities.

Our community traveled to the Orange County Library System (FL) for the monthly Lunch & Learn, featuring the wonderful 'Dancing for Joy: Stay Fit and Sharp at Any Age' presentation.

What a beautiful time celebrating the incredible individuals who serve from the heart! 🎓✨

We gathered for a special reception to honor our Team Member Scholarship recipients and express our gratitude to the generous donors who make it all possible.

It was an inspiring event as we recognized five recipients receiving new scholarships and five whose scholarships have been renewed. This wonderful program supports not only our dedicated team members but also their children as they pursue their educational dreams. Seeing these families grow and thrive is a true reflection of purposeful living!

Our heartfelt thanks go out to our neighbors on the Team Member Scholarship Committee for their hard work, and to everyone who contributes through Westminster Communities Foundation . Your impact is incredible—in 2025 alone, more than $25,000 was awarded in scholarships and nearly $14,000 was donated.
