Some partnerships are measured in years. Ours with Las Vegas Sands is measured in more than a decade.

Since 2014, Sands has stood beside The WASH Foundation through a shared commitment to providing essential hygiene supplies through kit builds, helping launch our first soap recycling center in Las Vegas, and supporting The Drop by Drop Project, which funds water stewardship and conservation in the communities that need it most. What started as an early investment in our mission has grown into one of our longest-standing corporate partnerships.

This year, Sands is back as a sponsor of the 2026 Impact Gala. Ten-plus years in, their commitment has only deepened, and so has what it makes possible: safe water, sanitation, and hygiene reaching communities that would otherwise go without.

21,000 people gained access to clean water and hygiene through our work this past year alone. That is the kind of number a single night can build on.

Following the recent earthquake in Colombia, The WASH Foundation is mobilizing essential hygiene supplies to support communities affected by the disaster. With the help of disaster partners like All Hands and Hearts, 7,400 kits are on their way to provide basic hygiene supplies when they are needed most.

A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck western Colombia on Monday, one of the strongest the region has felt in years, and the shaking reached communities in Ecuador as well. Homes, hospitals, and schools have been damaged across Chocó, Valle del Cauca, and Risaralda, and families are now facing the days after disaster with their basic infrastructure gone.

When water and sanitation systems break down, disease risk climbs fast for people who are already displaced and exhausted. The WASH Foundation, along with its partners, is working to get hygiene kits and sanitation supplies to families in Colombia and Ecuador who need them to stay healthy while they recover.

Every gift goes toward getting supplies into the hands of people rebuilding their lives.

Clean water is changing school days in Tororo, Uganda.

So far in 2026, The WASH Foundation in partnership with Ugandan Water Project and Bukedi Diocese of Tororo completed new water access projects at Apuwai Primary School, Ochegen Primary School, and Kallait Primary School, bringing reliable access to safe water to an additional 3,300 students and 28 staff members, as well as members of their communities.

We celebrated local ownership of a new water well and two rainwater catchment systems, training a new water user committee, filtration maintenance teams, and celebrating with a community handoff.

For the students, this means less time spent searching for water and more time in the classroom. For teachers, it means a healthier learning environment. For communities, it means new opportunities to thrive.

We are proud to be providing safe water today while building the knowledge, skills, and local ownership needed to improve health and opportunity for generations to come.
