5 YEARS AGO TODAY! BETA, inc. merged into the UCP of Central Florida organization to continue providing essential services to teen mothers and their babies! The program became the UCP BETA Teen Parent Connection Program, and continued the original organization's mission. 💜

This morning, UnitedHealthcare announced that UCP of Central Florida’s Downtown/BETA campus was among the eight community-based organizations that will be receiving an Empowering Health grant. Read more about how it will help the BETA Teen Parent Connection Program at the link below!

UCP Downtown Charter School and the UCP BETA Teen Parent Connection Program received a $150,000 grant to provide necessary support services to UCP Charter students, the BETA Program’s Teen Mothers, and their families.

Thank you to Randi Kahl, President, and Traci Jones, Vice President, of Altrusa International of Orlando-Winter Park for presenting a check for The UCP/BETA annual Holiday Shoppe. The members of Altrusa provide funds and wrap gifts for the BETA girls during the Holiday Shoppe.
