💚 Reflecting on a Year of Impact
As we step into a new fiscal year, we're taking a moment to look back with gratitude at what you made possible.
Because of our incredible community of donors, volunteers, and supporters, The Mustard Seed helped transform 944 houses into homes this year. Together, we served 2,629 individuals, including 1,325 children and 142 veterans across Central Florida.
Every number tells a story.
A child sleeping in a bed instead of on the floor. A family gathering around a table for dinner. A veteran finding stability after a season of hardship. A parent finally able to create a place that feels like home.
✨ Through our furniture and household goods program, we distributed 22,441 pieces that helped families rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
🌎 Together, we also cared for our environment by recycling 6,846 mattresses and box springs, keeping more than 157,000 cubic feet of material out of local landfills.
🙌 And none of this would have been possible without our volunteers. This year, volunteers filled 3,251 shifts, contributed 12,683 hours of service, and generated more than $434,000 in economic impact for our mission.
These aren't just accomplishments—they're reminders of what happens when a community comes together to help neighbors in need.
To every person who donated furniture, volunteered their time, made a financial gift, or shared our mission with others: thank you. You helped provide comfort, stability, and a fresh start for families emerging from crisis.
As we begin a new year, the need continues—and so does the opportunity to make a difference.
❤️ Together, let's keep turning empty houses into homes.
