🤘Tampa Bay is rising — but is everyone rising with it?

Forbes named Tampa Bay the #1 emerging tech hub in the country.
We have 50,000+ tech workers, a booming fintech and cybersecurity scene, and a region growing fast.

But here’s the truth no one puts on the brochure:

▪️ Black workers earn 21% less than their White counterparts
▪️ Nearly 30% of Black residents lack reliable internet access
▪️ Latinos make up nearly 1 in 5 Americans—but less than 10% of tech roles
▪️ Latinos hold only ~7–8% of tech jobs nationwide
▪️ Latino-founded startups receive just ~2% of venture capital funding

The people building AI and innovation still don’t reflect our communities.

That changes in this room.

Join us for an intimate lunch + power panel with diverse leaders breaking ceilings in tech, AI, and digital innovation — right here in Tampa Bay.

This isn’t a networking happy hour.
This is a real conversation.

🎤 What to Expect
— How AI is reshaping opportunity — and who gets left behind
— The real cost of the digital divide
— What it takes to build an inclusive tech ecosystem
— Moving from representation to a real pipeline

🚀 JEFA DEL MES 🚀

We’re proud to recognize Vannessa Haydeé Weber — social researcher, data scientist, and Founder of Veracity Research Solutions.

For 10+ years, she’s been helping organizations turn data into direction — guiding funding, strategy, and program design to create real, measurable change.

As a Latina founder, she’s committed to equity, impact, and community — even providing complimentary services to support military-connected families.

ig win for our community! 🚀

The Orlando edition of the Global Power Platform Festival happened yesterday and it was a huge success. This free, community-driven event brought together user groups from around the world to explore the Microsoft Power Platform through immersive boot camp sessions, hands-on labs, and expert-led learning.

We’re especially proud that our own Latinas in Tech Central Florida chapter leaders — — hosted and led the experience locally.

A huge thank you to Accenture for the support and for having our community at their Orlando office!

The collaboration, knowledge sharing, and energy in the room showed exactly what happens when community and technology come together.

Grateful to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make it happen. More innovation and community learning ahead! 💡🌎
